She was glad Kate didn't wake. She then,taking a deep and nervous breath,carefully tried to slip out of the bed and away.

D stood and she noticed. She carefully tucked Kate in and kissed her forehead briefly. "Not long.Not long." She murmured,then,on silent talons,slipped out of the room and started toward where the books had been.Her plan.

D padded to the books and sighed. "Words...words...sounds,looks...fit...fit...fit..." She muttered,then carefully took a few down and put them to the table,opening them up to just random pages. "Words...sounds...fit...." she muttered again and felt the words on her tongue and remembered the sounds from Kate and the looks of those sounds on the paper.

The words were fairly large since it wasn't a particularly long book the author wanted to fit on so many pages.

D bit her lower lip with a fang,but she stopped as she heard Kate's voice in her head telling her not to do that. " I,easy....not long. I...I...I...little line." She scanned one pace and saw the little line. She looked up and around for anything to cover the other words but leave that one word,er,letter in view. She didn't want to damage the book though.

There were quite a few writing utensils around, pencils, pens, highlighters.

She felt bad,really bad,at the moment for doing what she was.But she walked over and awkwardly picked up a highlighter,walking back to the words and finding I again. Shaking,she took the cap off and tried to figure it out. "Color...onto pay..per...paper." She'd heard the words before so that was sorta easy. She awkwardly took it into her jaws and tilted her head,then carefully colored the I.
(Gtg,brb.Gatta wash dishes this morning.)
