Pam shrugged, seeming a bit confused . His underwings swirled his confusion as well, though he casually reached up and took one of the strange fruits from a branch above as they walked and tossed it hand to hand with practiced skill. "Don't know, man. All used ta' hear it,it used to sing to us of good thangs. But apperantly dat changed after us Multi's where...eliminated." He clawed the fruit for a moment before calming and seeming happy again. "So snow gal, what's the good word on dat?"

Snowball tilted her head, blue eyes confused. "Well you are correct,Pam. The wind did lose it's voice once the Multiwings where gone, but it did sing joyfully while you where there. But I don't understand how you can hear it without it's voice,or why you'd hear it as sad.It was never sad."

Pam didn't seem to understand and nor did Snowball.

"Well,it's somethin' 'bout 'lost souls' or somethin',dat's for sure." Pam said.

Snowball huffed a little. "Lost souls,...Foreskel knows about soul stuff. But do you think it would be the missing Multiwings? If they arent' dead, like you, then does that mean that maybe...the Nightflares are the Multiwings?"

She was getting at it,almost.

"Well, maybe not all of them. Are there any other breeds that you've...killed off? Or thought you did?"

Snowball sighed and nodded, head lowering a bit in guilt of her dragon bretherton. "Yes,a few old blood breeds. In the records we have it is said that they became obsolete and soon the new breeds came in and...well,swapped roles. The old breeds where relieved of their world and role and that is the last our records speak of them. Then the Nightflares come into view." She said, seeming guilty and worried. She was probably fairly young, not as old as most the dragons that actually would, though few,be from the time of the Multiwings. Snowball wasn't one of them, and yet she felt bad.She felt bad for what happened to the Multiwings and what might have been done to the older breeds. Those moon dragons and Fishy dragons and probably more with how many types of Nightflares there where.

Pam rubbed the back of his neck, biting his lower lip with a fang not as sharp as Jasons'. "I remember those records, even before my time there weren't none 'dose 'oder thangs.Dose other two dat where...what I was."

Ash had fallen silent, listening to what Snowball and Pam had to say. "Wait, so Nightflares didn't come around until you supposedly killed off the older breeds?"

Snowball nodded, head lowering a bit more.

Pam cracked his knuckles, loudly. "Apparently daug,I didn't hear 'bout no massacure before we got ... eliminated." He still seemed to have a hard time speaking of how him and the other Multi's where removed from the system. He seemed to be happy again though as he smiled, seeing a river now running through and weaving in the grove. It was pretty normal, for human stuff, but the water didn't touch the earth, rather was like a long flowing tube hovering and waving up and down slowly. It looked like it was made of crystals. But it's faint coloring matched beautifully with the soft and mellow colors of the grove around them.

Ash liked the river, wondering how it managed to flow above the ground. "Do you think that the Nightflares could be the older breeds trying to preserve themselves?"

Pam looked at his hands, shaking his head. "Nah...it was dark man,dark...it's comin' back ta' me and it aint fun..." He touched his chest tenderly. "Ain't good...it's dark....just as if ya' died but ain't...dead...no rest, and caught in dat rage ya'll putting on all dose others."

Snowball but her free wing over Pam as they came to the river side. "I'm sorry.I know the others shall never say it,but i will.I'm sorry for our misdeeds and cruelty."

Pam gave her a small smile. "Don't worry Icey Gal,ain't you.Ain't you,I know if you ain't from back den.And ya' aren't,your far to young."

"Well...then maybe someone else was trying to preserve them," Ash muttered to himself, watching the river go
