Maybe,but any spent time outside of the lab left little 4HD in the lab.Were anything can happen,a test go wrong or acid to potent in her system. Knife hits wrong spot,or something hits her on her head and she goes into a coma?! OR SHE'S SICK AND NO ONE KNOWS AND SHE GET'S TO SICK AND PASSES?!
D could worry a lot.

For sure,and she didn't care that she knew it would probably make it harder for her to work her plan out once she got to the lab. But for now she was focused on getting Kate distracted or asleep and then slipping out.

Kate wasn't really one to go straight to sleep, but eventually she got into the guest bed, expecting D to get into it with her

D,though not planning to sleep,pulled herself up into the bed with Kate. She gave a soft smile despite how nervous she was inside to be doing what she was going to.

D let her,putting a wing over her. But she shut her eyes,not wanting to look into Kate's eyes at the moment with knowing how it would hurt the human girl if she woke when D was gone,even though it wouldn't take...to long.Or so D thought.
