Vexin was still sleeping,head back and soundlessly asleep.Not one dream. His chest rose and fell steadily and strongly with his breaths and his arms where still gentle around her,his wings as well.

She stared at his wings, wondering where they had come from. And then she mentally kicked herself. He's a half-angel, of course he would have wings!

He still slept peacefully,but he seemed faintly stiff...like something actually was on his mind in his sleep.

She unclenched her hands, smoothing out his shirt where it had become creased slightly. She kind of wondered if he was thinking about the family he left behind, whether they cared or not

He was,actually. He was thinking over the faint moments of how,rarely,his parents had been proud of his grades.Straight A's,they wanted nothing else.And that's what he always gave them,though when he got a B they often threw a fit. But he was remembering the okay moments with them,the faint smiles and things like that.No hugs for sure,or cuddles or 'Good Job,boy.'. But he liked to read them a bit and know they had to somewhat care for him,...even if they beat him.His body was hard to bruise so no one knew.
