Kristine: They hadn't heard me. I started crying again and bend down.

Jules: I smile. "I can fix it for sure." I hop onto the bus and look at the radio. I fix a few of the wires and set it to scan. I hop out of the bus and hear them say something about the heli. "I'm not leaving it!" My dad had giving it to me and it was useful.

Jesse: I shake his hand and smile rubbing the back of my neck. "Yeah. I guess I did..." I look down at Quin smiling. I would go nuts if I didn't have her. I felt the truck stop. "I wonder what's going on..."

Nathaniel: I see my mom and jump out of the copter. I run over to her and wrap my arms around her. She cried in my shoulder. I sigh feeling tears try and come out. I had to be strong for my mom though and forced them down.

Opal: I see miss Kara and jump up and run over and hug her.

Kara: I smile and pick her up. I felt awful but I didn't want anyone to know.

Rick: "thank you." i turn to the people. i guess i was their leader although i did not want to be. i clear my throat. "Ok. i know we all have had a rough few days, of death and pain but that is now behind us. it is time to start a new chapter, one that is happy and planed. Now I know that we have one person missing and we are going to wait for her as long as we can, but there is no garentee that she is still alive. Everyone that is coming get on the bus or in the van. The truck is open as well. All we can do now is wait for her."

Yasa: his words were strong but they needed something. "And what do we plan on doing?"

Rick: i think for a moment. "we are to find somewhere safe."

Ottway: i go to stand, but my leg gives out. "******!" i curse.

Kat: i walk to Rick. "He is right. We have to survive, we have to live to see a new day! We are all this world has! Carl and Sophia are the only children we have to teach at this time so lets not screw this up for them. We will meet more people but most of them will be bad people, most of them helpless, but the few we find will be part of our group! We will survive!"

Carl: "Survive!"

Sophia: "to a new day!"

Nathaniel: I glare at the man. This wasn't what my mom needed to hear.

Kristine: I wanted to keep moving, I know she probably was dead even though I didn't want to believe it.

Jesse: I watch him fall down. "Are you okay?" I ask him wondering what I should do.

Jules: I sigh. That was a pretty good speech and I should know with all the one's I had been to. I didn't like it but it was the truth. "I can fit one other in the heli." I offer hoping no one would take it.

Russ: I nod. "I can fit three more." I said noticing that three were still in the bed of the truck.

Kara: I chuckle a little at the irony of it all. For the past few years of my life I had been preparing for war. Now the whole earth was hell. I squeeze Opal.

Opal: I cling to miss Kara. She made me feel brave.

Kat: "you know you make a good leader." i say to Rick. a smile fills his face.

Rick: i smile at her. "Thank you i am trying." i climb on the bus. "i will drive."

Carol: i herd the kids on. "Daryl are you going to take your bike?"

Daryl: i nod at her. i put the kick stand down and grab my bow. "im off to go find her." i say as i walk off. "Anne!"

Ottway; i look at my leg, and laugh. "i could lie and say i feel fine but i think you can see it for yourself."

Yasa: i look the van over." we have enough gas to get us about a half a day." i say.

Kara: I hold Opal's hand and climb onto the bus, "I could drive if you want Rick." I offer.

Jules: I couldn't help but hear Yasa. "I have some extra gas on the heli legs if you need some..."

Kristine: I hear him call her name and wonder if she just walked out of the trees. I look up expectantly. "He shouldn't go in there. There's nothin' to do for her now." I say to Nathaniel a tear in my eye.

Nathaniel: I didn't want to believe it but she was probably right. I run after the man and grab his shoulder. "I think she's nothin' to look for... I mean nothin' left..." I sigh. "Look if ya go lookin' for her my mom will have a breakdown..." I sigh hoping he knew what I was saying.

Jesse: I smile. "I guess you're right." I run my fingers through Quin's hair willing her to wake up. "Do you know any of their names? I've been busy soaking in everything." I ask nodding my head toward the tent flap.

Rick: "No you need to rest." i say to her as i seat in the driver's seat.

Yasa; "no i am good, we will make it." i say not looking at her.

Daryl: i turn to him and punch him in the stomach. "dont try to stop me." i say walking away.

Ottway: "i honestly dont know other than Kat." i say taking the bandage off my leg. i gag when i see it. "Does it look too bad?"

Kara: I wanted to argue but he was right. I walk to the back of the bus and sit down slouching. Opal jumped up on the seat next to me.

Jules: I nod and walk back to my heli and look it over. I haven't had to bring it up that fast and wondered if it got broken anywhere.

Nathaniel: I double over and grab my stomach. Man that hurt. I straighten out and walk after him slowly. "Please, come back. If ya do find her and ya both die my mom won't forgive herself." I say gritting my teeth from the pain.

Kristine: I slowly walk back over to my four-wheeler and pick up Annie's back pack. I hug it crying a little.

Jesse: I cringe a little at the sight. "Honestly, it looks really nasty. You might want to put that bandage back on..."

Daryl: "I don't plan to die today." I growl. "And you are comeing too so that means if I die you die, we all die." I state

Ottway; "can't it is bled through." I look at the cut. "At the rate it is going I think I might lose the leg." I pick around at it. "Don't happen to have any acohol do you?"

Rick: "everyone on that want on the bus?" I ask.

(Sure!)

Nathaniel: I through my hands in the air. "Sorry I'm just trying to keep my mom from fallin' apart."

Jesse: I look around the truck. "You might find some in that basket. I have no idea what's in here..."

Kristine: I pick up both of the bags and leave the four-wheeler. "I'm comin'!" I step onto the bus and sit in the first bench without anyone and lean my head on the window staring out sadly.

Russ: I shrug and go to the back of the truck and open the flap. I see the other man back there. "If you'd like you can sit in the front..." I offer him thinking Jesse might not want Quin to see him.

Daryl: "go back kid i dont want to see you die today." i say finally. "your mom needs you, but no one needs me."

Ottway: "I am good but if you could get me something to clean my leg with that would be pleased." i say looking at the boy. "So where you from?"

Yasa: i sit in the van thinking about all that we had lost. I had nothing to lose but these people did, and for that i was sorry. The dog was panting in my face. "what do you want?" i ask him. he licks at my face. "Thank you, i needed your spit on my face." i say wiping my face off.

Kat: "are you talking to your self again?" i laugh.

Yasa: "No i was talking to the dog." i say looking at him. He was big and hairy. "just look at him!"
