"Again, basically impossible to hate you. Besides, don't you trust me?" He was kind of playing on her guilt at the moment

" Not.. not entirely.. more so because you're Ashes family and Ash.. he was sweet but it hurt him too.. "

"Yeah, okay, fair point. And I shouldn't be pushing you to talk about something you don't want to. I apologize." The sincerity in his voice would pull the heartstrings of most people
