Jason would have hugged Ash if he'd been able to move.

"Unlike me?" He growled,baring his fangs. "How much junk has he filled your head with about me? That just because I took what's thought as poison that I'm crazy?" For a moment,gold tinted his eyes to their original shimmering color and his expression softened for a moment and Jason relaxed before they snapped back to red and Shade shook himself out and Jason was stiff again.

"Because you are! Normal dragons don't just kill their family members because they didn't listen for the first few times! And Jason said he had tried to listen!"

"Well he didn't try hard enough." Hiss Shade,tail lashing and fists clenching.

Jason's scales filled with gray guilt and he would have tried to hide if he'd not been forced to stand still.

"Or maybe, just maybe, you tried too hard, pushing them away without even knowing it."

"If I did then he shouldn't have let himself get pushed away,just like how he easily let you push him away despite how it tore at him." Shade shot at Ash.

Jason flinched but he was forced to seem calm as the black stuff pulsed darker in his veins and through his body.

"You're right. He respects other people's decisions. That's really something to be ashamed of."

Jason so would have attacked Shade at this point but he was forcing Jason's own stinger into his left leg,right behind his knee and very very slowly.

"If they hurt him then he should have fought for himself! He shouldn't have let himself be hurt,he should have fought for what he loved and who he loved,not let them drive a dagger through his heart and yet still let his love flourish for them! For you!" he pointed at Jason and let him go,making him gasp a bit. "Did he have those scars before?! Did he ever seem so afraid at times?!"

"Leave him alone you idiot!" Jason growled,glaring at Shade. "He's done what he knew as right and that's what matters. His decision is worth a lot,and what matters is that he stayed true to what he believed right."

"Jason, it's okay. He's right. I hurt you more than I should have." He turned back to Shade. "He did fight for himself! Just not in the way you would have!"

That only made Jason feel bad,it made him feel like he was to weak to defend Ash.

Shade sneered. "And how was that? Throwing daisies at you till you fell for him again~?" He did jazz hands and swished his hips.

"I never fell out of love for him," Ash stated. "And he kept himself from shattering which I'm sure you couldn't manage."
