"Well, I haven't seen anyone who looks like what you described your mom to look like, and we've seen a lot of people who look like what you described" He light cloak said. "Now come with us, we can bring you to a safe place." He told her.

She nodded and followed seemingly distraught. Shadow nuzzled Blue's neck and Blue cheered up slightly.

The man lifted her onto his shoulder, bringing her onto one of the rooftops, then looked around for a safe route to the docks. In one alleyway, Kai could be seen at his knees, an older boy with a sea lion at his side. The older boy was clearly a dark cloak, he wasn't attacking Kai, but he clearly was hostile, but Kai just sat there, looking like he wanted to attack him, but couldn't.

Blue could see Kai. Uh, sir, there's someone over there being attacked by one of the dark cloaks. Could you save him? He obviously needs help. Just leave me here." Blue said quietly.

"Kai's strong, he can handle it, and if anything goes wrong, his boyfriend will help him" The man said, leaping to the next rooftop, eventually getting her to the docks as a large light cloak ship arrived.

"Oh ok. Woah, that boat is huge! I've never been on a boat that big, only seen them every once and a while when my mom asks me to come with her so I can help her carry whatever she buys from the merchants you come from other towns with so called hard to obtain objects. Honestly, I never trust them, I bet the things they sell you can buy super cheap in other towns." Blue said. She looked back at Shadow who was clinging onto her shoulder. "Thank you sir for saving my life, I owe you and all the light cloaks for that matter." She said politely.

As the light cloaks headed off the boat, people were dragged on board, most going willingly, but a few struggling to stay behind, but all being brought to safety.

"So, this is how it's going to be, huh?" The dark cloak boy asked, taking a step closer, weapon in hand. Kai fell to his knees. "Baharu, I don't want to fight you" Kai told him, but Baharu just shook his head. "Baby brother, you were the favorite child, mom and dad paid much more attention to you than anyone else, when you left, they were so angry, I thought maybe the rest of us would have some love, but no, they just lost all love they had for any of us!" Baharu shouted, slashing at Kai with his spear, striking him in the chest. "Baharu, please! It doesn't have to be like this, you could join me and the light cloaks!" Kai told his brother. "And give up all my power, Kai, you're pathetic" Baharu said, taking the spear and making a stab at Kai, who managed to dodge out of the way, hurling a dagger out of pure instinct, which wedged into Baharu's stomach, causing him to fall to the ground. Tears in his eyes, Kai yelled "I'm sorry!" Before fleeing to the docks, still crying.

Blue saw the boat and gulped. "Am I going on that, is that what supposedly leads to safety?" Blue asked nervously. She looked around hoping to see her mom or dad but saw neither. "W.. what if my mom and dad are still here? I need to find them." Blue said as she stared at the boat.

Several badly injured light cloaks, ranging in ages from 14 to 40 were being brought onto the ship as well "kid, if your parents are here, they'll be brought to the light cloak haven, they might even be there already" the light cloak told her as he brought her on board. There were several light cloak healers on board, one of them, a girl with a crow, was crying over one badly injured young boy as her crow brought medical supplies for her.

"I guess... There are so many hurt people here, I hope they'll be ok." Blue said quietly. She pet Shadow and sighed. Blue seemed a little less nervous now but still had a worried look in her eyes.
