Rain


Rain made a dissatisfied sound before looking at her. He smirked as he got to his feet " I am not interested in dogs, but thanks for the tips mate." . Rain looked around as he stretched, it had been months since he had gotten to be outside. He had gotten very tired of being cooped up in a cage where he was even forced to sleep right were he defecated. He shivered but was glad he could finally feel the soft and comforting earth beneath his feet. He smiled at the she wolf, a real genuine one. " Don't worry Alpha, I'll be a good boy." The thought of once again having freedom to hunt and run was too tempting to waste. Plus, when he finally did get to be free he didn't want to still be weak from confinement.Moving forward Rain stopped and looked back at Shadow/ra his tail waving in a happy little movement. Rago raised his head, equally thrilled at the aspect of being outside, even if chained to the somewhat annoying female...

Rikki

Rikki simply rested her head on Blaen for a while after his response. The way he described his parents sound so magical. Where hers had been nothing short of monstrously cruel to one another. The only moments her parents weren't literally hating each other were when her mother was in heat.
The time were a female was ready for pups was the only time a she wolf would lay down the very basics of her, to give in and relinquish her pride...At least that was how her mother had described it to the pack females one day. She had told the whole lot of them that they should be glad they were never to be alphas. For to be alphas you had to bow down to the one you truly hated...Rikki lifted her head up sadly and weakly smiled. " I hope I find a mate that actually loves me, every day my mother was with my father she withered and died a little more. I think that's why she was such a cruel mother, we weren't the pups she wanted." Rikki clearly remembered the day her father tore the throat out of the pack beta. The look on her mother's face was pure agony as if her mate had ripped her throat. She had disappeared for weeks and when she came back she was so cruel and mean, and her eyes never lost that distant look." One thing I know is I'd never be so cruel of a mother to my pups...Even, even if their father wasn't my one and true mate.." Rikki turned away, her gaze stared up at the moon for a while. Then she suddenly yelped as her eyes blazed with pain, the nerves reawakening fully...

Shadora eyed Rago/Rain for a minute "What did i say about staying behind me at all times" she gruffly but you could tell his happiness was infectious to her she trotted past him before coming to a dead stop "By the way if you wish for me to allow you to stay outside that cage i may arrange it but you have to promise me a few things first and i warn you if any of these promises are broken i will kill"She said her voice getting somewhat harsh to express the seriousness of the situation Come on i will explain more when we get into my territory your going to help me mark it today" she trotted off into the houses weaving in between them threw the back alleys and turned around just in time to see the black smith's dog go after Rain/Rago pinning him to the ground teeth bared and as usual drooling all over Shadora sat down "Dagger" all she said was his name but it was a harsh command filled with warning and promise the dog who was just a hair shorter than Rain/Rago looked up "Shadow nice to finally see you it has been awhile since you have been around i was starting to worry a lone girl like yourself out there" he said tail wagging happily drooling all over Rain/Rago who he had sat on

She gave him a warning growl that said this line of thought was not a good one and he should change the subject "Dagger GET OFF OF HIM NOW" She half growled half barked and the way she said it was all Alpha Dagger immediately jumped off of Rain/Rago and trotted to Shadora where he proceeded to roll over on his back and whine showing his weakness her command over him was surprising considering this was a dog that hunted wolves for a living

"Dagger" he looked at her with sad eyes and she sighed he looked like a puppy to her "I have been fine just busy with this one"she said motioning to Rago/Rain "I promise i will come see you soon ok but right now i have to go mark my territory don't want any other wolves to be near what is mine" she said possessively

"Wish i could come Shadow but master doesn't like it when i just run off like that" he said a whine to his voice

"I will be fine i have Rago with me don't worry he is pretty tough when he want's to be"

Dagger looked you up and down doubtful but unwilling to challenge her judgment

"Well Dagger we must be going" not waiting for an answer from the dog she turned "Let's Go" and trotted off around the house

Stray looked at Raja sadness in her eyes she couldn't lie to him and she wouldn't even if she could "Raja i...i can't promise that i don't know where they will take me i have herd of wolves being moved over the great water with no way back i....i can't promise i will be back because if i did it may be a lie and i won't lie to you Raja I want you to stay with your sister she will always need you weather you believe it or not and she will want you around as well" she was silent for a short time but it seemed like forever before she found her words "Raja i care for you to" her words were simple but so full of emotion it hurt she wasn't sure what to do other than to tell him the truth

Raja let out a low whimpering cry. No one aside from his siblings had said this to him. He rolled over and let his face rest against the bars where Stray was so close but so far. " I should have tried to get you to rest...If I had done something different you wouldn't be in there." His ears folded against his head. Raja pressed his nose close to Stray's. He always failed those that really needed him..."I'm sorry...Stray."

Stray jumped up so quick she almost scared herself and she was sure she scared Raja a growl came from deep in her throat that dripped with anger she glared at him before biting his nose just hard enough to hurt "You could have never controlled what i was going to do even if you wanted to so don't even begin to think this is your fault DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME" her true Alpha side really coming out for the first time and for the first time in her life Stray's tail raised in the air showing her alphaness she puffed up showing her mane that her breed of wolf was known for she didn't like the idea that he thought this was his fault but her reaction was far over what it should be she calmed down and layed back down licking Raja's nose where she had bit him "Raja no one controls me but me that is why i am not in a pack i can't stand the idea of someone trying to control me i am my own wolf there was nothing you could have done i would have done what i wanted whether you liked it or not so don't blame yourself" she said in a much softer tone

Rago woke a little, rising just enough to curl his lips back. However, Rain forcibly put his brother at the back of their mind. Not forcing him to sleep but otherwise in no position to control. Rago was completely and utterly stunned by the move.Rain was supposed to be the sweet and gentle one. Rago eyed his brother and saw that their bonding moment and Rago's gift of his strength still hadn't left the brother. Rago wondered if it would remain. Rain would be just as much a alpha as he. The tougher brother looked within himself and felt a spark of Rain's kindness. It was a growing bud that the male had no idea what to do with." Okay" Rain's voice brought Rago out of his thoughts and he realized the whole event was already over as his brother followed the she wolf. Rago growled, not liking following orders from a she wolf who was not his alpha..." Rago, sometimes you need to simply be lenient in a situation where room is limited, plus we are not bowing, we are learning. A great alpha is always learning." Rago snorted but knew his suddenly wise brother was right. So he watched the she wolf's rump...It wasn't the worst view of their life...

Raja sighed, but then a smile grew on his lips. He gave the smallest and most gentle lick of his tongue on her cheek. " Stray... A wolf so amazing as you doesn't deserve to be alone forever...and its really simple, be alpha female." Raja let his mood lighten, she was right and he could only carry so much burden. Responsibilities he carried could only go so far in others actions. He couldn't blame himself for all the wrong and bad that has happened to the lives of those he cared for... Just like he couldn't have known Scar was a evil and backstabbing wolf.." You'd make a great alpha, odd as always but great." His eyes shone a bit as he tried to imagine her leading a pack. " I can see it, you'd lead them with so much of your sassy but confident way...Fearlessly leading to a great future, whoever you chose as you mate would be proud...Your pups would be just as crazily smart as you.." She was the strangest and most likely the craziest wolf he had ever met, but he was sure he was crazier because he was falling hard...

Shadora trotted weaving threw houses dealing with several cats along the way who got a little to brave she didn't know what to say she was impressed by his show of restraint around Dagger she was so lost in thought she didn't notice the horse that was in front of her it was a hunting horse and reared up the second it saw her trying to kick her his hoof hit her in the head she jumped back just in time to avoid the second kick she began to growl at the horse ready to kill the stupid beast her tail went up her fur stood on end and she was ready for a fight an arrow shot from the right of the horse and went straight toward Rago/Rain she jumped into the arrows path and pain exploded into her shoulder but she stood her ground right before the hunter could let loose another bolt Dagger came bounding around the Black Smiths shop and slammed into the guy with his full weight all 250 pounds of Dagger hit the guy and Dagger growled drool hitting the guys face as he stood over him then from the sides of the house three other male dogs one a Irish Wolfhound one a Cane Croso and the last was a Shepard mixed with a wolf the run at the horse distracting it from Shadow "Run" She whispered turning to Rago/Rain and took of as fast as she could toward the woods another bolt let loose and Shadora hit Rago/Rain hard enough to knock him down the hill making the bolt miss him and they both went tumbling down the hill landing on a soft patch of grass shadow pulled him to the forest and ran to where a large Rock was she jumped on top of it and threw back her head and howled calling to the dog's and dog-wolf mix that had helped them in town she layed down and waited for them to show up

Stray tucked her tail underneath her leg to keep it from wagging "Raja do you have something you want to say to me" She said putting on her most devilish smile and licking his nose "Raja i could never lead a pack i just wouldn't work no pack would accept me to begin with much less let me lead and as for finding a mate i.....i'm not exactly sociable i....i can never be in a pack because of how i am my show of strengths my challenge is your show of surrender of weakness how could i live like that i can't change how i am and when i have tried to learn a new way i get so frustrated i go off at who ever is trying to teach me i don't know how to be submissive it just isn't in which is yet another reason i don't have a mate no male wants a female who won't or can't submit to him my father taught me that he i...i don't think i will ever have pups or a mate and i know i will never have a true pack some try to get me to join because i am such a good fighter and hunter but my personality always becomes to much for them and i am kicked out within a week" Her eyes were sad but full of truth she cared for Raja a great deal but believed it wouldn't work because of how she was and she wouldn't change herself for anyone not even Raja she couldn't this is how she is and she accepts that learning a new way is just to hard "Raja do you really think there is a pack out there that would accept me as i am and a mate as well is this really what you think" she doubted it was true but she wanted to know for herself
