"Not really. It's weird sleeping in a different room with different sounds," he admitted. "What about you?" he asked, turning the page and making a few random lines across the page. It was a game he played often, He would make the random lines into shapes.

"Why would I be offended? I didn't make pancakes," said Embe, tilting her head in confusion. She didn't think that it was offensive in the slightest. She glanced at A'eda'n's muffins.

(So many apostrophes in A'eda'n's name)

Jora shrugged. "Well enough..." She lied, in truth she hadn't slept at all last night. She kept having nightmares. She started relaxing a little. "So, what's the plan for all that swimming and hanging out later?" She asked as she turned back to the loose page she had earlier and started coloring it.

A'ine shrugged. "I don't know." She said breaking out into a smile that turned into a laugh.

A'eda'n finished and stood up. "I'm going to go to class now. Nice meeting you Ember." He said smiling faintly.

(XD Yup!)
(HOLY COW! I started putting all of the first Mythos High thread of our writing to show my mom [for homeschooling homework purposes] and I have 20 pages already! I'm not even half done with the thread and later on we're almost the only ones posting! XD)

Orion grinned at the fact that Jora seemed interested in a conversation. "Well, we don't have all the logistics figured out yet, but I think we're swimming right after school and then changing into dry clothes for a bonfire.A'ine's never had marshmallows before!" He said, wondering what the others thought the plan was.

Ember looked up at A'eda'n and smiled very slightly. "Yeah,"she said, hoping he could tell she was agreeing with him.

(We could make a book! XD)

Jora nodded. "Okay." She thought for a bit as she picked a new color to draw in. "Are bonfires even aloud on the school grounds?" She asked a little nervous about the whole big fire thing. She finished coloring as much as she wanted to and turned the page staring at the blank page trying to think of what to draw. It was so white and speckles she shuddered and looked at her hand remembering last night..

A'eda'n cleared his tray and started walking toward class.

A'ine stood up and looked at Alderic. "You coming?" She asked. He shook his head and pointed at his pretty full plate

"We actually don't, but Alderic assured us that we wouldn't get in trouble. I'm not sure if he's right, but..." he trailed off, realizing they could easily get in trouble. He decided he was willing to take that risk.

Ember cleared her tray and walked back to their table. "Alderic, you're in my class, right?" she asked quietly.

Jora shook her head snapping out of it. "How can he assure that?" She asked wondering what was going on. She didn't like the idea of getting in trouble. She'd never had gotten in trouble at school before and didn't want that to change. She turned to a page that already had a drawing on it. She looked at her drawing of her mom and dad. She wondered what they'd think of her after last night.

Alderic swallowed his food and smiled up at her. "Nope. Equine, did you forget where you class room is too?" He asked his smile growing. He was just going to follow A'ine after he had finished.

"Well I'm pretty sure it's aloud, as long as we do it on the beach. I don't see why it would be a problem as long as we did it away from anything flammable," Orion said. He hoped he hadn't scared her away from going. "Besides, if we get in trouble, I'll say it was my idea and I dragged you all along,'cause it's basically true," he said smiling.

(*facepalm* I spaced it and thought Alderic was a phoenix. I just remembered he is a flaming pegasus. XD)

Ember blushed. "Well pegasus's fly so..." she said, making up a lame excuse. "I"m gonna go to class," she said, and stood up, grabbing her bag. She walked out of the cafeteria, feeling embarrassed for forgetting Alderic's class.

Jora shook her head. "No, it wouldn't be all your fault. And besides that's lying after doing something that's not aloud so that would just make it worse." She said turning through some more pages. She stop and stared at the one of the baby rat. It had pink stains all over it. She turned to the next one quickly and almost wanted to cry. It too was stained only the pages were wrinkled and warped from getting wet.

(XD That's okay! Well all get confused sometimes.)

Alderic stood up and cleared his plate. He licked off his fingers and ran after Ember. "Hey, it's cool. It is kind of confusing sometimes." He flashed her a bright smile and pushed his glasses up on his nose. "So, do you need some help finding your classroom? I can remember were everyone else's is besides my own." He offered his smile widening.

Orion glanced over at Jora's sketchbook. He didn't know what to say, or how to fix the sketchbook. "How full is that sketchbook?" he asked, trying to take her mind off the damage, but he guessed he wouldn't be able to. All those drawings will be ruined at some point, won't they? It's sad, the only drawings that last forever are the ones that everyone loves. And even those get destroyed at some point. He shook his head, trying to get off the melancholy train of thought.

(Thanks for understandingI We've done so many pages!)

Ember turned, surprised that Alderic had ran after her. She was also glad, because she doubted she could have found her class without him. Instead of saying so, she just asked, "Except your own class?"

Jora bit her lip and talk out of the side of her mouth. "All but ten maybe fifteen... out of ninety or so." She flip to the next page and closed her book, partially slamming it.. It was depressing her. Those were the only things that made her feel good back home and now they were ruined. She stared at the cover at it. she noticed now that some of the edges were wrinkled and damp looking. She looked out the window trying to not cry.

(Yup!)

Alderic rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah... My mom always said it's been a talent of mine to forget what I need to know while remembering what other's need to know." He looked ahead of him down the different halls. "That way." He said pointing. "So, what do you think of Jora so far?" He asked trying to figure out what he thought of her.
