Shade hissed,glaring at him but his grin still couldn't fall. "They think it's poison because dragons that are weak end up dying from it,rather it's made me stronger.I'm not going back to being what I used to be,almost exactly like him." He pointed at Jason,making him wince a little.Only a little.

"I don't see what's so wrong with that."

"Really now? Then why have you tried to teach him weaponry? How come you've tried to make him strong against situations where obviously he's weak? And then,even though you've tried to farther yourself from him,you-" He was cut off from his sneering as Jason let go of Ash and swung around,punching Shade square in the jaw. "Shut up!" He growled but was slammed to the ground as Shade snapped,rubbing his own jaw. "Your getting better at aiming,I'll admit that brother dear." He said as Jason tried to stand but the black pulsed through his veins in a death threatening way. His wings struggled to spread so he couldn't push himself up with those rather than his arms.

Pam looked over and he seemed horrified,white and sick green flooding his frills and underwings.

Snowball gasped and almost moved forward but black tendrils snapped to live from the ground and made a thick wall to block the two.

Shade grinned still. "Dear dear Jason,should I say rather than your dragon name. I see you've found that your fondness of others..." He then knelt in front of Jason and grabbed his chin,forcing him to look at him. "Has really gotten you into trouble now,trying to defend one of the two who are close to your heart,and yet you can't even stop yourself from being controlled~.Pathetic.I can't believe you'rs my brother,a son of Father.I'd take dying by Flashers claws over having to watch those pitiful eyes tear up as you suffer."

Jason couldn't respond.

Shade looked back to Ash as he stood again. "Looks to me that your little pet is a bit clingy."

"First of all, he's nobody's pet." Ash spat the word. "He's his own being, even if he can't resist you. And I've been training him because I am not about to just stand aside and watch him tear himself apart even more than he has trying to protect us. I'm teaching him a new way to fight. Maybe you should learn, too, because eventually you'll develop a tolerance and then you'll have to take more in, and soon it'll be gone. What are you going to do then?"

Shade seemed unbothered and unmoved. "Then I'll just do what any other weakling like my brother here should,die~. Others will come out of what I've done and continue my work to show the dragons just where they belong and who should be on top.Multi's. And there's no point to you training him." He said,pausing with a sick giggle. "He'll die eventually,and it's lucky if he has much longer!" He seemed to find this sickeningly funny and started laughing crazily. "He's dying! His soul is of two,a negative and a positive! Human and Dragon,they're ripping each other apart and fighting to separate. And when they do!?" His own black royal markings pulsed a sickeningly black light and he grinned with blood stained teeth. "They'll be destroyed and he will be as well in the process!YOUR LOVING A DYING BOY!!!" He Screamed out.

Jason forced himself to be able to glare up at his brother,but not able to speak. His eyes screamed that he'd not wanted to tell anyone,and most likely Lila didn't even know.

That's exactly why he wanted a soul. He wasn't about to just watch Jason die and then have to live with that for who knows how much longer. "That's okay," he whispered. "But until then, I will do everything that I can to prevent that."

Shade didn't waver. "You dont' understand do you~? Normally he'd live hundreds of years beyond now,but he maybe has...I'm not sure how much longer,maybe a few years~? His soul is probably only breaking farther due to the major pain level of that shattering,and those chains on him aren't helping." He laughed as if this was a super funny joke.

"I'm....fine..." Jason was able to grit out against Shade's control,but the truth was out. He maybe had till he was the human age of 25,that's if he was lucky. And he'd only die till he was nothing.His soul with turn to nothing and it would have been as if he'd never existed. As if he'd not had a soul at all,and so Ash would fall to a rest if he got a soul,but Jason wouldn't.

"There's nothing for him after life,no rest or eternity.No Second Plane or Fallen plane or even a middle resting spot with his condition now.Nothing." He said,making a poof motion in the air with his hands as if for a little kid. "Poof~!" He giggled a sick sound, it released Jason and he struggled to a tired stand.

"That's the way it is for us. We fade, nothing waiting for us once we're gone." He said, unfazed. Besides, if Ash could get a soul, surely Jason's halves could work together somehow?

Maybe,that's if humans and dragons could work together. The soul halves where only copying their origin types.

Shade sighed. "I see~.Well,I guess that's fair. A fading for a fading,both lovers meant to fight for one another and yet in the end both destined to be nothing in the end."

Jason swayed a little,glaring at Shade. "That's the one thing I thought you'd never say.The one thing I thought that maybe...you'd keep in our brother bind..." Jason muttered.

"Brother bind?"
