Frisk called, *um, i might.*

the vines wrapped around her leg and began yanking.

Froggit hopped back a pace and let out a noise akin to a growl, eyes narrowed and focused on the vine. "R-r-r-ribbit!"

Frisk began freaking out and yelled, *MOM!*

(Wow you really want her to set something on fire huh?)

Toriel dashed outside, a whip of flame forming in her hand. "What happened??!"

Froggit shuffled back fearfully. "R-ribbit!*"

(*"I-it wasn't me!")

Frisk pointed at the vine, shaking in fear, partly from the vine, and partly from her mom and the fire whip.

The vine kept yanking.

"Frisk, child, get down!!" Toriel cried out before hurling a fireball at the vine, making sure it struck further down and away from Frisk. The Froggit attacked as well, sending a small swarm of insect-like bullets swooping at it.

Frisk got as far away as she could, and she felt the heat from the fireball as it exploded near her.

The vine let her go and seemed to slither away.

Frisk looked at her mom, shaken. *do we follow it?*

(Yes, you do.)

Toriel glared after it, then looked back at Frisk in concern. "I'm not sure it's safe..." She let out a resigned sigh. "But, I know I can't stop you once you set your mind to something, so I'll go with you."

She nodded, put the Froggit on her shoulder, and ran after the vine, not staying too far from her mom. She also was on the verge of tears from fright.

The vine kept going away from them, keeping in their sights.

Toriel stayed close, though she didn't say anything. Her expression was an odd mixture of concern and somewhat bridled rage.
