"Thats...a little sad," Kate pointed out

D shrugged.

After a few moments, she jerked to a stop to keep from falling in. "We're here!"

D dug her claws down into the ground and used her tail to steady her rushed stop,her wings out a bit. She started trying to hop a bit as she yanked at her left talon,the sharp claws a little stuck but she was able to get them out.

Kate jumped into the canal, emerging from the water a few seconds after jumping in

D looked at the water with wide golden eyes that shimmered joyfully. She fluttered her wings as if to fly but then instead she jumped in carefully. After a moment she came up as well,wings out like floaties and tail swishing under her in the water carefully. She had a wild grin on,fangs and all,and her hair was wet and hanging down heavily so her graceful black horns showed majorly.

"I'm so glad you can swim," Kate said with a slight laugh. "I was worried there for a second that I would have to drag you back up to the surface."

She nodded,pushing sagging blond hair from her face a bit. She was kicking carefully with her talons that just so happened to have some webbing. She splashed the water carefully but playfully,seeming to be happy in the water. She hadn't swam for a while but she still loved it.

"Eep!" She was shocked and her wings bumped up a bit out of the water,losing a bit of the pocketed air and making her bob,but she grinned and playfully splashed a gentle wave of water toward Kate.
