Puddle hisses. Then shakes its head, grinning.
Points to the dragon, puts another X through it and shakes its head.
Points back and forth from the Nogar and itself nodding, and back and forth from the dragon and itself hissing.
(Sorry if this is so confusing. I can't think of any better way to say it. My sister and i did like a million facepalms when we read your whole adventure so far! It's so frustrating! XD)

At such a close range there is hardly any time to avoid it. The flames singe your arm, giving you a burn. However it isn't as bad as you would have thought. Perhaps that's because it's still a teen, or maybe the Fairy swarm spell had this effect. Flower did say he was weak against other magic after all.
You lose 2 health
You can only manage a clumsy slash at his tail as you try to dodge any more attacks.
You do 0 points of damage.

"Ouch!" I yelp and jump back, slowing down to observe Sparkburn and to see/calculate where it would be best for me to attack. "What do I do?" I ask Flower.
(Btw... My nogars' names are just Nogar 1 & Nogar 2?)

Puddle nods and sighs, before popping bubbles ver you both. You each feel a little better, although It still wishes it could communicate with you more efficiently.
Which way will you go?

(Well you haven't named them yet, and it's more of a title than a name. I forgot to say you can name them. Although you might want to find out their genders before you name them.)
Flower rushes to your side and mutters,
"I can heal you later. For now, go for his eyes and cling onto the back of his neck best as possible. Clutch his horns."
She zips away again, drawing his attention, and using more magical attacks. The ones she uses most are Light Beam and Vine Clutch. Light Beam blinding him for a few moments and blurring his vision, throwing his blasts off aim, while Vine Clutch sprouts thorny vines from the ground, which grab hold of his legs and inject poison.
She has just used Vine Clutch, and Sparkflare is trying to blast them off his legs.

(Regardless of gender, I'm naming Nogar 1 Skhemet and Nogar 2 Rah o3o)
I nod, cringing at the pain of the small burn. Seeing Flower had drawn Sparkburn's attention to his legs, I run back and try to leap up his back, and then try to grab his horns. If all goes well, I stab a knife into his right eye owo.
