I frown for a moment in thought before picking her up in one talon. I turn and launch myself into the air. I soon land in the giant forest, beside the lake I had been to before I found her. It is much warmer here so I set the dragon down by the lake.

Well, for a dragon as pretty as her I guess I can make an exception I sigh.
I examine River again before pulling some herbs out of a pouch and applying them to her, muttering as I do so.
