"I don't either, but I'm with you. let's just avoid unnecessary bloodshed," Mathias replied.

Amy heads towards camp.

Mathias stayed behind with the humans. "Just to make sure they don't try anything," he had said with a wink and a smile.

Amy heads back and searched for Asher.

Asher was muttering to himself, spear in hand. He walked over the forest terrain, hoping he could get his mind off the the last week's events. Tomorrow they would stop sending out relief taems, as by this point anyone left alive would either be found by them or another encampment. Then they would all come together and try to reestablish the clans. Then, hopefully, they would go their separate ways. But... me and Mathias are the only two reported from our clan... I hope there are at least a handful of other survivors, He thought

"Asher!" Amy cried out when a echidna attacked her with a dagger in his hand. "Shh!" The echidna whispered with the dagger against Amy's throat.

Asher looked up. Did he really hear a scream, or had he imagined it? He stood motionless.

Shane looked around carefully then he tossed the echidna below him over his shoulder. He knew someone was gonna try and find her but he had to know what she had seen. He then fell and when he got up he picked the girl up and ran knowing he made a lot of noise falling down.

"M-Mathias? That you?" Asher knew he had left the camp with Amy, but... he definitely heard something.

Amy scream as best she could but it was very muffled. Shane carried her to a cave.
