Snowball and the hatchlings didn't seem to notice it.

Snowball seemed just stressed,blue eyes darting once in a while back to the mountain castle now and then but other times darting frantically over the landscape.She often swerved out of view and into soft teal clouds to avoid being seen by some of the fighting going on down below,mostly to avoid the warring air squadrens.

Crysta leaned against Ash fully and huffed softly,calming.

Guppy rubbed her little eyes with her wrist joints of her talons,sniffling as she calmed.

The two little girls didn't hear the song,the ancient whisper telling of a deep tale.

A deep story long not told,deep and true and lost to the wind alone with time.A story that the dragons have forgotten.

Ash wondered if they heard it so much they just had learned to ignore it or something.

Snowball reached her talons forward in a small stretched and her hind legs kicked at the air for a moment a little. She soon tilted downward a little and began descending a little as they glided over a terrain with sloping hills and strange mist like plants swirling and winding around gracefully,seeming to drip with black ooze.Similar to the stuff Guppy had been made of while she had been a Wellwater. The song was soon louder the closer they got to the strange terrain,but still the girls didn't seem to notice it.

Ash began looking around for the source of the song

There wasn't really one but it did seem as if the area of the misty plants sang it themselves. Soon it sounded a little destrout and sad. And a little stressed,as Jason had seemed that first time he'd slept in the Fey realm and he'd been besides Ash by morning.

Snowball swerved and landed with practiced grace and almost silent talons,within the forest of misty plants seemed to be shimmering sorces of water,but glassy with the color of diamonds. Creatures of soft pastel pink and teal flitted and crawled around through the area,winged creatures like mini dragons but also little crawling ones that seemed like twisted wisps of mist entwined and knotted to create something like a fox but it wasn't a fox type of creature per say. One of these stopped and hid a little behind a tree,staring at Ash with bright green eyes as Snowball lowered for him.

Crysta and Guppy stared at it as if entranced and pulled by the green hypnotizing color but Snowball didn't look at it,seeming to try and use a wing to block the trio's view of it. "Fexlurez." She muttered,shaking her head.

"What do they do?" He asked, looking away from the eyes.

"They entrance their victims and lure them to the CrystalFrond Ponds and...well they take them under.You can breath,or so you think,but after a while the creature shows its true nature and..." She shook her head,shuttering only faintly as she lowered to her underbelly and put a wing down for him to slide down. Crysta still stared,curious,and same with Guppy.They didn't know about these things nor did they understand what Snowball meant.

The creature focused it's eyes on the two and strangely fluffed its seeming furr and looked even cuter. The little hatchlings liked that and both warbled a little.

Ash picked the two hatchlings up, trying to block them from seeing the hypnotic creature

They where a little confused but didn't fight,simply settled for enjoying Ash rather than a fluffy green eyed thing.

The creature defluffed(xD) and then padded off,slipping into a pool of that crystal like water with a mirror surface.

Snowball shook her wings out carefully as she stood and then gaped her jaws,tasting for any hint of the two twins and she caught something. "Nightflare,...we're not the only ones tracking them." She muttered,body a little tense. That black Nightflare goo dripped steadily and slickly from the tree like shapes of twisted grace. It looked odd,gooey black,against the soft pastel colors of the plants,light light blue and very soft emerald green with glittering pink lining between the colors as if to keep them from mixing.

He watched the goo. "We better hurry. Which way did they go?"
