Shade couldn't stop smiling,not of joy or anything but it was an expression often stuck there. "I bid the fare well dear fey." he said,bowing at the waist. "I'd say I'd hope we'd meed again,but that depends if brother dear survives~." He then giggled and dashed at the portal,Jason forced to leap after.

He drew in a quiet breath, his hands curling into fists at his side

Shade didn't stop once at the cliff by the main portal,leaping into thin air and the mist dissipated as his real form was there waiting. He looked almost exactly like Jason but he was crazy and his eyes red.Freckles death black rather than rainbow.

Jason grit his teeth and tried to trip himself to stop himself but he couldn't,forced to skid to a half as he was almost made to jump off the cliff.

Ash watched from the other side of the portal

Ash could either follow now or he could let the portal close. He could ignore the portal and Jason would have to stay under Shade's control as long as the semi-twin pleased.Or he could follow,and find a way to help free Jason in some way. He wouldn't be alone,he could take Puck or,not most likely,Grim. He could get help from Snowball,Lemon,Air Current or maybe even Silver.

He had no idea where the others were, and he figured he didn't have time to go find them before the portal closed. He stepped through

The portal closed slowly after him on the other end but the main portal remained. Shade had jumped off the cliff and dove off into flight toward the far horizon. Jason was still clawing at the ground to stay put but his wings fought him.

Blue eyes watched him with worry from a nearby large thistle bush.Two ice blue eyes.

Ash figured that must be Snowball. He went over to the pair of eyes

The eyes stayed on him and Jason soon was forced to lunge off the cliff and plummet till he let his wings spread and take him to follow Shade.

"Something is not right." Snowballs voice said softly,worry in it.She carefully and elegantly slunk out of the bush toward Ash. "His Majesty never follows the fallen prince.And his royal markings where black,but he avoids clementine.Something is quite wrong."She didn't care if Ash wasn't dragon,she was still trying to confide her new worries in something or someone. Her brother wasn't here,nor the rest of the squadron,and so she was all on her own. She looked after them and it was clear she wanted to follow but knew she couldnt't because two little heads poked over her shoulders. Crysta and Guppy.

"Shade is controlling Jason." He regretted saying it so bluntly when he saw the two hatchlings.
