TJ smiles up at Rose. He didn't know how to feel. Maybe Siren had ruined the moment, maybe she hadn't. TJ hadn't really noticed Siren until Rose pointed her out.
"Yes, Rose... Siren.... I can see that." TJ says, trying to figure out what Rose was chattering using context clues.

Rose chattered in surprise when something touched her back. She turned around, realizing Siren was trying to pet her. She jumped on her head, pretending to hold a map, it was a game of guess what she was and she wanted to see if TJ could guess right.

Rose shook her head and pretended to make a map, pretending to draw stuff on the map and hold it up to see if it matched what she was trying to "draw".

Rose squeaked as she fell of Siren's head and landed on a branch. Jumping down she ran up and climbed up on TJ's shoulder, pointing at one of the huts in the village.
