Micah glanced at him. "No, I like hearing you purr! It's cute." He realized what he said and blushed, hiding his face.

Ray tries to gently get Micah to stop hiding his face. "It's a pity you want to hide your face. You're really handsome." He says, booping Micah's nose playfully. He continued to purr since Micah liked it.

Micah blushed even more and pulled his legs up, shaking his head. "You're way more handsome."

"No way that's possible." Ray says, sitting crisscross next to Micah. He puts an arm around Micah and rests his head on his shoulder.

Micah closes his eyes and sighs softly. After a few moments, he said, "You still have to leave... don't you?"

Ray doesn't want to think about it. He didn't dare! He was happy with how life was right now. Who would want to leave Micah?! "I... I..." Ray hung his head and put his hands in his lap. "Most likely." He didn't want to say 'yes'.

Austyn soon found Silvia and screeched to a halt next to her. "All ashore who's going ashore!" He says, gently placing Janet down.

Micah closed his eyes and leaned on Ray. "I thought so," he mumbled. "Can't I come with you?"

Silvia clicked her compact mirror closed, content with the appearance of her makeup at the moment, and leaned down to pick up Janet, who giggled. "Hey, nerds. Have fun exploring?"
Janet nodded eagerly, her pigtails bouncing as she beamed at Silvia, then Austyn.

"It's dangerous, you could get hurt." Ray says, not wanting Micah to get hurt.

"Yup! And I'm spent." Austyn says. "I'm going to go take a nap." He says. He could go on for a while longer, though.

Micah opened his eyes and turned to face Ray, looking almost desperate. "I don't care! You're the first person I've ever cared about this much, and I don't want to lose you!"

Janet made grabby hands for Austyn, whining. "No, don't go!"
Silvia feigned offence. "Am I not fun enough for you?"
Janet hesitated, then shook her head. "Not really," she admitted.

"And I don't want to lose you! I'd never forgive myself if I let you come and you got hurt or worse." Ray says, really wishing he could hide behind his wings at this moment.

"Uh..." He looked at Silvia to see if she would kill him. "Sure." He says slowly. "I can stay."
