Loki keeps his distance from the group wanting to leave but couldn't.

Fidelis raced off into the woods, and came back a moment later with a branch of some sort of dark berry I had never seen before. She set it down next to Angel's carrier, nudging it closer with her nose.
'No, Fidelis," Jax said "Those are poisonous. They wouldn't kill you or me, but they would definitely kill Angel." Fidelis stomped her foot stubbornly. A thought came to my mind.
"Does anyone actually know how large these demon spirits are?" I ask. Jax seemed to read my mind, and looked to the others for the answer.

Desta looks at Valerie, 'Do you?"

"Nobody has ever seen one," Maverick pointed out

"So they could be invisable and take on any size,'' Desta mutters.

He nodded solemnly. "Yeah...that's why they're not gone by now, because they're basically overpowered."

Desta wasn't sure how to react to that aside from shock, "How do we beat them then?"
Loki picks up on her nervousness and shies.

"The only known way is to drive them away. If they have no host, they can't live on their own for very long."
