(first note, we have a lot of people, maybe I should start it now, .... I shall start it soon. ^w^ (sad about last note; maybe we could do a prp continuing loosely on this. with tj and rose or something. *hides behind paws*)

TJ shrugs and glances into the corridor. "Great! It's open!" He switches from a happy voice to a more serious voice, "Any traps or anything we should know about?" TJ asks Cobra and Hayden in advance.

Kenzie looks at the staffs and matches them with the people. "So... I would be... orange? cool! ... or am I unneeded here?" Kenzie suddenly feels a worm of doubt.

(For first thing, yay! (For second, a prp sounds good but I'll think on it first))
Cobra turned to Kenzie, a surprised look on his face, "Of course you are needed, there are trails you know," He directed the last part to both Kenzie and TJ.

Garry nodded grimly, collecting the staffs and handing them out, one to each of them, he was left holding his purple staff and Hayden's golden staff, "Let's hope Hayden wakes up soon."

As if on cue, Hayden slowly lifted his head, looking confused, "Wh-hat happened?" He stood slowly and turned to pat Coins on her snout.

"I am now connected with a weasel." TJ says, not sure quite how he feels. "And we have arrived at the temple of light." TJ says in his best announcer voice, doing jazz hands before taking his staff back. "Welcome back to the world, Hayden."

Kenzie nods slowly. "Great! I hate to not be needed." They say and collect their staff. "Thanks."

Rose looks away, her face going red again as mutters to herself "I am not a weasel!"

Hayden watches the pair, raising on eyebrow as he watched them, "At least we made it to the temple," He walked forward, a tiny hop to his step, like he all of a sudden was in a better mood.
He grabbed his staff back from Garry and started to lead the way through the temple, ignoring Garry's cries for him to be careful.

Kenzie skips after him, humming a song underneath their breath as they thought about their fast paced adventure so far. "Ha, and to imagine that this all happened... and not in a dream."

"Okay... then what animal were you? I mean, besides a homo sapien... unless you aren't really a human." TJ says, thinking out loud to Rose. He follows Garry and Cobra.


(what if(just like a random thing) it is just a dream...or a test or virtual reality or something? (you can definitely ignore this. I mean, it isn't at all with the story line, I was just thinking))

(That is a good idea (trust me, I love it) but it does not go along with the storyline, BUT I can include it in season 2 of the storyline, it will make sense once we get to it, if I find a way to slide it in there)
"I don't think this is a dream," Garry said from behind Kenzie, "because then this would be a nightmare, not a dream."

"I'm a human of course," She said matter of factly, "And I am part shapeshifter, though I can only seem to shift into a weasel."

"So you're not a weasel. A shapeshifter. Nice power, by the way." TJ compliments her because it seems like the right thing to do. "And I'm sorry I called you a weasel."

Kenzie turns on their heel to face Garry, a tiny bit startled. "True. But at least in this nightmare - if it is merely something conjured from sleep - the sky isn't in thunderclouds and ravens aren't chasing after me to eat my dead body... Not that I ever have had a nightmare about that or anything." Kenzie says, shuddering.

"It's ok-kay," She said feeling flustered as she looked forward, hearing a giant thud behind her she turned to see the door had closed behind them, locking Coins outside, "I guess we are stuck here."

Cobra stopped, freezing as if he knew what would happen, "It's the first test," He yelled slithering to the front of the group, noticing that the tiled floor had turned brown, "I think it is mine?"
(It's a great idea though, sorry if I don't use it *feels really bad*)

TJ freezes and says quietly, "I hate enclosed areas." Blackie comes closer to TJ when Cobra mentioned it could be a mine. "Especially dangerous ones," he adds in a small voice as he glances at the floor and area around him.
Kenzie walks next to him, "Why dangerous?" TJ shudders.
"Because in certain passages there can be little to no oxygen; there is also usually a place or two where an explosive - used to go deeper or further - is placed in the wrong spot and activated at the wrong time. Miners used to bring canaries down to make sure the passage was safe. The birds were there to make sure they knew if the tunnel was safe or not." TJ says, rattling off random facts, sort of managing to calm down.

"I think it isss a fight," He said mostly to himself as he slithered forward, only to stop as a person appeared.
"Hello, hello, hello," The person said slowly in a smooth tone, raising a sword in there hand they jabbed at Cobra, who barely dodged.
Cobra lunged and tried to hit the person with a staff, but they dodged. The person pushed Cobra over and stood over him, there sword aimed at his throat.
"Poor little snake, you will go now with your parents," The person smiled, only to gasp as Cobra used his tail to sweep the person's feet from under them, they then crashed to the ground.
"I will never join them until I am ready," Cobra said from under his breath as the person crumbled into dust, leaving a surprised Cobra, "What?"
