She quickly opens everything he needs, sliding it over to him.

He smiles at her.

She shrugs, looking at the nearly finished painting. "So, what now?"

"The last thing we need to do is the sky." He explains. "Leave the clouds to me- for now, choose the color we'll need and paint most of it, leaving white patches to put the clouds in."

She eagerly does as he says, choosing a light blue and leaving patches of blank spaces for the clouds.

Once she's done this, he begins doing the clouds. They're actually a lot more work than she'd expected, which is probably why he told her not to do them.

"Why do clouds take so much work to paint? I'd think to just add some light grey to the bottom and then, poof! All done..."

"Nope." He laughs softly. "To make them look like real clouds, you actually need multiple brushes and several colors."

"Surprise Surprise"

He shrugs. "They're not any more difficult than anything else with shading, but the small strokes required means you need a steady hand and a lot of practice."
