"Emberkit," he began. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Emberpaw. Your mentor will be Tigersnarl. I hope Tigersnarl will pass down all he knows on to you. Tigersnarl, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from...," he trailed off and his eyes narrowed. He was unwilling to mention the old leader or anyone dangerous who was related to the old clan. "...you have shown yourself to be intelligent and strong. You will be the mentor of Emberpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Emberpaw."
The newly named Emberpaw hurried to the warrior, her eyes shining with pride.

TigerSnarl bent down to rub noses with the new apprentice. "Pleas do not be much trouble EmberPaw." he said jokingly

"Of course I won't!" She replied, with a slight defiance that showed how innocent she was. Ravenstar now looked down at Soulkit. "Soulkit- you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Soulpaw. I will take on your training personally and I hope to pass all my knowledge down to you."

Ravenstar chuckled, whispering the the apprentice words only he would here. "I know you will grow to be something special, Soulpaw. You will be a great pride to this clan."
Emberkit made a face back at him.
