Elliot peered out of the cave, he saw nothing, no one was out there. He picked up the rock and threw it back outside, to see if someone would emerge but then he saw Cassie. She stood up and walked out of the cave, her eyes wandering the trees. "Cassie get back in here!" He hissed.

Grey loaded her bow, pointing the arrow at Cassie's shoulder. She didn't like to kill immediately, no, that would ruin all the fun. She let he victims suffer at the bitter hands of nature.
She let loose the arrow.

Elliot saw the arrow fly and he ran towards Cassie, pushing her out of the way and the arrow stuck into him. He let out a muffled scream as his mouth but down on his hand, trying to stop the extreme pain. Cassie rushed over to him. "Im so sorry," she whispered, dragging him back into the cave.

"Dammit." Grey cursed. Elliot's always in the way. With chivalry like that, he won't last long in the arena.

Elliot tore a piece of his shirt and poured some water on it, placing it on his wound he hissed in pain. "I told you not to go! Why would you do this? It's the hunger games, it's not carefree!"

Grey hopped closer towards the cave, listening to every word.

"They're still out there! Just guard, I need to tend to my injury." He snapped, feeling annoyed that she had been so foolish. He shuffled further back and tied the strip of clothing around his wound.

Grey knew she could kill them all, but she decided to wait.

Elliot drifted to sleep with Cassie staring out of the cave. She felt her eyes droop and sighed, "Why did it have to be me to guard?"

Grey dashed in front of the cave, merely a shadow against the moonless night.
