"Yes I was referring to you," Illya responds as her ears lay flat against her head, "Ignore the creature it wants a fight and we don't need one." Muttering quietly Illya carefully gets closer to the creature careful not to look threatening, "Please stop this foolishness. We don't want to fight and clearly you need to get somewhere. Either let us help you or be on your way."

Casey smiled apologetically at Alyx, feeling a little bad for snatching his moment. He turned back to Illis, his smile turning into a much more lively one, to match the kid's mood.
"I do, but I'm bigger, I can protect myself just fine!", He responded, dramatically showing off his muscles. "I could also get actual armor, just in case." Casey playfully ruffled their hair, keeping his attention split between her and the commotion behind him.
Casey glanced over to Alyx once more. "At least we can try.", He responded. "It would be a much safer option, 'specially for the kiddo."

The beast gets ready to charge at Illya, it doesn't seem to understand what she's saying, just that it was persistent, before it begins running at her, it's distracted by another flash of light, and another humanoid being appeared. It releases a final, blood-curdling, earth-shaking, screech of pure fury and raises its long wings, needing only one flap to send itself up maybe 15 feet into the air. Each flap of its wing to keep itself steady in the air sends a wave of brick-like wind down at the ground.

As Darius appeared, he realized this wasn't just a daydream. He felt himself,just to be sure, when he notices the beast, and stares, terrified and afraid he will get trampled, being about two feet tall.
(I hope that was good.)

Mouse had just sat down for a moment, hidden in an abandoned building to catch her breath and close her eyes. As she sat there, Mouse let her mind wander to what life would be like in another world. Like in one of her books. The feel of grass beneath her and jarring scream of a creature more fantastic than any creature she'd ever come across kicked all her reflexes into high gear.
Mouse scrambled instantly to her feet and looked around. She saw a group of people, who all seemed just as confused as she was, but made no move towards them. She wanted to observe this strange bird a little while longer. It seemed like their arrival had startled it, but no matter what anyone said it didn't have any affect on the bird. Just like what the bird was saying was lost on them as well. However if Mouse had to take a guess the bird was telling them to 'get off my lawn'. Or something to that effect.
"I might be wrong, but I don't think it understands what we're saying to it," Mouse said, barely loud enough for them to hear, just before the giant bird creature began flapping it's massive wings. Forcing her back to the ground, Mouse shielded her face with her hoodie.

'We don't understand it and it doesn't understand us. It's already tried to attack us twice," Illya explains quietly, "Do you have any better ideas? Aside from trying to distract this creature while the group leaves?" She was already more than fed up with this creature and wanted to just get away from it. The increasing presence of the group didn't help her nerves either. There were too many people there already for Illya's nerves to tolerate.

The pigeon beast cast: Deafening roar, unlike its other screeches, this one made the ground tremble as if the earth itself was in fear, the dryer ground cracked beneath it, the beast lowered down to the ground, but still hovered above it as if it were expecting something bigger to happen.

I'd also like to add that if you fail to reply after 48 hours you are forfeiting your turn, it is unfair to make the others wait to take action and it slows down the game's lore progression.]

Darius watched, and as he saw it stay hovering, he looked for somewhere to get higher.
(There was something I forgot to add to the character sheet. Darius, AKA Catscratch, is a winged kobold, so he can fly, if it's okay.)

Illya carefully looks at the ground around the creature. She was expecting something from that reaction too. An earthquake caused by the noise maybe? Taking a deep breath Illya holds the lit candle out towards the creature hoping to be able to trick the creature.
