Nightmare Nightmare woke up to see it was day. She got on her hooves and walks out of the cave.

Maddy The young mare was up first, her hoofs firm in the snow she pushed her self up shaking most of the snow off of her shiny pelt. Her muzzle moved along the snow turning over soft, fresh snow to eat the moss and ferns underneath, she did this over and over walking forward-backwards-and sideways will she was full, saving some the ferns for the newly born foals and fillys

Nightmare Nightmare sighed as she grazed around for moss and fern. Nightmare ate until she was full. She then fealt thirsty and went to the pond.

Maddy She watched the two fouls play in the snow before coming to eat , she snorted kicking up some snow before relaxing everyone has woken up to the noises, the male got to his feet searching for something to eat

Nightmare sees the pond and sighed in relief that the pond isn't frozen. Nightmare then lower her head to take a drink.

Unknown The male looks at the approaching female but lowered his head to eat again seeing her as no threat to him or anyone else that is in his herd

Nightmare Nightmare stops drinking from the pond to the herd across the pond. She turns away so she wouldn't bother them. A foul stops her and she sees that the foul wants to play. "No little one go play with your herd little one," Nightmare said in a soft voice. The foul looks sad but went to the other fouls and play with them. Nightmare leaves and went for a little walk.

Maddy Maddy was confused on why she didnt play with the foul, thats how we found most herd members, maddy sighed and rounded up all the fould on the other side of the pond to keep them close from predators and such that roamed these parts

Nightmare Nightmare looks up to find a foul stuck on a branch and a predator is nearing the foul. Nightmare runs towards the foul and neighs really loud and hurt the predator away from the foul. She waits for the predator to leave before she help free the foul from being stuck. "Little one where is your herd?" Nightmare asked in a soft voice. "I live in the herd you keep seeing," The young foul said. "I'll take you home little one," Nightmare said and guides the foul to the herd.
