Interis smiled and asked one more question, " What would you do if you were given enough money to make you rich?"

It didn't take much time for her to answer this one, "I would share it with my town. Clean it up, make it nice. Help the families there too. I would make sure everyone was fed and happy there. I would make it a better place to live." A determined look came over her, one that couldn't be wished away. She was fiercely loyal to her small town. Her neighbors, her family, and the people who grew up around her didn't have much and that made them close. Those were her people and she wouldn't abandon them.

Interis smiled and got up and said five words to Feyra, "Child you past the test,"

Feyra's golden eyes lit up. Ma is going to be so very proud, I think, standing up.
"So what now? What am I meant to do here?"

Interis smiled at her and put a hand on her shoulder and asked, "Child do you know what this test is?"

"My mother wouldn't tell me. She seemed afraid that I wouldn't accept if I knew, or something. All she said was that it was very important."

Interis smiled and said, "your mother is wise Child for this test that was to see who will became my apprentice to learn from me many failed this test because they where either to greedy, power hungry, or mean to be my apprentice but you showed kindness with a child in need of food and your mother, you gave advise to a lady with her abusive boyfriend, you used your logic and cunning while also thinking about the girl to stop the fight of the two brothers, and finally you showed loyalty to your small town to make their lives better,"

Feyra smiled too, saying, "I guess she thought I would refuse to stay here. She isn't entirely wrong. I didn't want to leave my town." She thought for a bit, considering what this meant for her.
"Does this mean that you will teach me magic? Can I learn to use it like you?"

Interis smiled at Feyra, "Yes child I will teach you magic and many more things come we must end the testing period and tell everyone I have my student," Interis walks slow so Feyra can catch up with him.

Afraid of spoiling the moment, Feyra follows close behind him without another word. As she walks her eyes wander around the beautifully decorated walls.
