"So it doesn't get dark by the time I'm back!" Taylor called over from her side of the clearing. "I don't wanna get lost because they sun's down."

"Know 'for a fact', eh? Facts are supposed to be true... Ian." She didn't seem to notice the way his expression had faltered for a second, or had chosen to brush it off as nothing. "I'm Isobel, but everyone calls me Izzy. No one calls me half-pint."

"Me too." Rylan admitted. "Guess we gotta find something else to laugh about."

((maybe the others can go off for a walk? Izzy and Ian can go for the drive meanwhile))

"...Fine! But just this once!" His voice lowered as he turned to Vic. "You ready, Belle?" She nodded and said, "Yeah."

"I am so offended! Why would you call me a no one? I mean, come on. Also, it was a fact, because I do still prefer half-pint to your name," he said, glad that she hadn't noticed or had just brushed it off. He didn't really want to have to explain or anything. Not that he would.

"I guess so. Well, that's not very fun."

Taylor couldn't help but smile as they agreed to come along. She was momentarily stunned as the girl finally spoke, but decided not to comment on it. "Alright, make sure to put on bug spray or something. 'Cause, you know-" She quirked a brow at Oliver, referencing his earlier statement. "Lyme disease."

"You should be offended! That was my goal!" Izzy called over her shoulder as she made her way to the car. With a grin, she added, "And who said I cared about your preferences?"

Rylan sighed, then glanced over at the group about to head out. He recognized Taylor, of course, mostly by the last name on her jersey. They didn't talk much, but going to the same school meant they at least knew of each other. "Hey! Uh, Woods, right? Where are you headed off to?"

"We're going for a walk!" She yelled back, gesturing to Victoria and Oliver. "Wanna join?"

Oliver only rolled his eyes, him and Vicky falling silent as she invited more...people. Great. How fun this was going to be.

He followed her. "Well, since you wanted me to be offended, I'm not anymore. I changed my mind. And it seemed that you didn't particularly like being called half-pint which is just another reason why I'm going to keep calling you that."

Jack was just silent

If anything, his eye roll only increased Taylor's amusement. "Have something you'd like to share with the class, Oliver?" The brunette joked, pulling her hair up into a high ponytail.

Izzy slid into the passenger seat of the car after making sure all the doors were unlocked so he could get in on the other side. "How charming. I'm sure you're a real favorite wherever you're from."

Rylan glanced at Jack. "What about it? Stay at camp or just... go with them?" It was unlikely that he'd talk to the others- he'd probably take a few pictures if they saw anything interesting.

"No," he said shortly, crossing his arms over his chest, but not before pulling his hood over his head. How he hated people.

He got into the driver's side. "Was it really that obvious?" He asked, holding his hand out for the keys

"I say go with them. There's not much to do around the camp if you're by yourself, you know?"

Izzy tossed the keys over to Ian and fastened her seat belt. She was not willing to trust his driving skills just yet. "So obvious. Also-" She eyed the steering wheel warily. "-I was serious about the drive carefully thing. This car was expensive."

Ah, it seemed her new goal for the day was to irk the boy as much as possible. "You sure?" She questioned as she tugged the park map out of her pocket. Her finger trailed across the page, and she paused on one red line. "Alright, this trail isn't too long and we should be able to catch a cool view of the sunset but get back in time. Sounds good?"

"Alright," Rylan nodded to Jack, then Taylor. "We'll come with."

"Perfect!" The brunette replied, folding the map back up. "Any objections?"

(No worries!)

"Yeah, I can see that," he said, catching the keys and inserting them into the ignition before turning them to start the car. "But if you can afford a car like this, what's another one?"

Oliver's hand shot up. "I object."
Jack rolled his eyes. "I would rather you forever hold your peace." That only earned a glare from Oliver.
Victoria had kind of just distanced herself away from them.

"Another one is almost sixty grand," she argued, turning to look out the window. The car had to be one of her most treasured possessions. Anything her parents bought her was, especially since they never seemed to be around physically. Gifts from them were the closest they got most of the time. "No way I'd be able to get another one on my own."

"Does anyone object other than Oliver?" Taylor repeated, chuckling slightly at Jack's reply to the other boy. She didn't wait for another answer, though and started off in the direction of the trail. "Onwards!"

Rylan was about to follow, but turned to look at Victoria hovering off to the side. He didn't say anything, just tilted his head in the direction Taylor was walking, as if wondering if she was joining them.

"If one of these are almost sixty thousand, then how on earth did you get this one in the first place?" He asked before putting it into gear and pressing on the gas.

Oliver and Jack follow, and have begun arguing again. "You look like a nerd," Jack stated bluntly.
"Well, I'm pretty sure you would consider anyone smarter than you a nerd. Which is almost everyone."
Yeah. It pretty much continued like that for a while.

She just nodded slightly, and started walking, although still trailing behind a good ways.
