Where do was start, human realm or dragon? And I guess I can, I could try and set the mood or something.

Are half dragon families in the dragon realm as their half selves a lot of is that not normal?
If it's normal I'd prefer starting in the dragon realm for my character.

It's mostly normal for dragons to be in their full forms in the dragon realm but it's not odd to see the halfies. So the dragon realm would work.

Hm...what do people in the human realm think of half's?

Depends on if they are mischievous or not, Jason is a problem at times due to how his shifts sometimes are accidental in the worst times as an example, but if they are not a "danger to society" then they are thought of as relevently alright.

The day was rather warm, the orange sky didn't help much with the bright sun's heat. Most the dragons and halfies had stayed inside, keeping away from the heat within the cool confines of their stone world carved deep into the mountain. The king was in court with some officials and nobles, trying to work out a plan of attack for the next air way fleet to take but nothing could work well without having to lose many. The two princes where in a training cavern, a young Toxicwing with them.

Toxin spun around and leaped at Silver, red scales gleaming as the sick green colored scales on his underwings flashed. His white claws almost caught Silver in the frills, the younger dragon ducking down as his silver and golden scales rubbed the tan stone beneath them. "Good, use your wing span." Shadow, Jason really, called from the other side. He was in his dragon form, helping the two train. Silver was seven, a little larger than a great dane, and Toxin was ten and a good bit bigger than a car. Jason himself in this form was about the size of a truck.

On this scorching hot day, Thali was cooped up in her family's mansion, currently in the dinning room. Their dinning area was fit for 30 people and had a grand polished wooden table. This table was nearly empty, save for the small plate of steaming blueberry pancakes drizzled with organic blueberry syrup.

Thali daintily ate her pancakes, sighing in happiness at the taste of them. As she finished a maid rushed in to clear her space, as another reviewed with Thali, her schedule for the day.

First up was school. She went to her private study, where her tutor met with her.

Silver, the youngest and last of the royal lineage, spread his wings but yelped as Toxin tackled one and sent them both spinning across the floor. Jason facepalmed and leaped over to them, nuzzling between the two as they batted talons with one another. "Alright, alright. No, not like that. Toxin, let's show him." He said, though smiling, he wasn't a to serious one. He leaped back and spread his majestic wings, shaking his head and playfully growling as Toxin spun at him and snarled. Toxin ran but Jason leaped over him, spinning mid air and them wacking the Toxicwings rump with a talon. He was gentle but the younger dragon still yelped.
