Hey Opal, some of my pets are over 18 days old and they're still adolescents. Are you sure they have to be 18 days old?

Here is the explanation of why your pets are still adolescents at 18 days,
credit goes to Everlost:

Eggs will usually hatch around 3 days, they become adolescent at 6 days and at 26 days they become adult. The adolescent that you have that's 26 days old will probably be an adult by the end of the day. Generated pets will be adult at 18 days.

Credit goes to Krin on this one:

0-72 (0-3 Days) = Eggling
73-215 (3-9 Days) = Hatchling
216-647 (9-27 Days) = Adolescent
648 (27+ Days) = Adult
