Okay, that was definitely not Jax. I leerily stood, but Jax's back was turned. I stepped away from the rock so he couldn't tell where I had been.
"...Hi," I said hesitantly, announcing my presence. The other guy I had been hiding with stayed put.

Maverick bristled. That was exactly what a demon would say. When he heard his sister's voice, though, he gave away his hiding spot, making his way to the cave.

Victoria stared at the other girls and the boy so confused as to where they came from. She was so relieved when she saw her brother. She assumed they were nice and smiled and waved at all the strangers

(Just clarifying, you said other girls, and both of my characters are male :P)

Jax approached me and punched me in the arm.
"You scared the living christ out of me!" he exclaimed. "I woke up and you were gone! What was I supposed to think?"

"Sorry" I mumbled, looking down and smirking slightly.

Desta waves at them as she tries to approach, "Come on I'm looking to help the wild horses."

I look leerily at the new person wh walked up. One new person was enough for me, but three was way too many. I went and hid behind Jax

Desta kept her distance while on Loki.

Jax waved her over in a friendly way. I don't understand how he was so good with people.

Desta smiles and lands in the dirt as Loki rears up unexpectidly.
Loki trots off a few paces.

(Sorry this took so long, I was creating a new sales thread so I could clear out some stable space)
Jax approaches the girl, and I stayed close behind him.
"Hi," he said casually. "Who are you? I'm Jax, and the timid one is Vanilla," he remarked, sticking out his hand for a shake.

Desta shook Jax's hand, "I'm Desta and the horse is Loki."
