Mako continued watch the screen, almost forgetting to breath due to all of his excitement and fear for the pilots. He would have to remember to come to one of these race things again, it was quite entertaining. Mako finally took a deep silent breath and tore his green eyes from the screen. "Im Mako by the way, Mako Aldamar that is. If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?"

(Only if you want him to. I really just wanted to put something other than reiterating what I have said before.)

(Ahh, alright.)
Zeno
Zeno tapped her on the shoulder. "Kid, Your Comlink is going off.", He shouted over the yelling of the crowd.

Lyyra
Lyyra leaned forwards a bit as if trying to make the Blaize go faster. "Almost there, almost there, almost there.", She whispered, praying to whoever was watching that they'd at least make it over the finish line one last time, because the third time is what counted.
(Ah yes, Lyyra has everything under control.)

Adona looked at him then down at her pocket. She jumped up and hurried out. I'll be right back! She yelled behind her. As soon as she was out of sight, she answered it. It wasn't good news of course. She finished talking and turned the comlink off. She'd have to hurry back to the hangar as soon as the race was over but she could at least try to enjoy it before then. She returned and took her seat, focusing on the screen again.

Zeno
He nodded, lounging on the seat, staring at the screen watching the smoke puff into clouds. It was curious, what would be so urgent to cause her to hurry off? He shrugged and folded his arms, sort of zoning out.

Lyyra
Lyyra sighed in relief, she was nearly at the end. She put out her landing gear, knowing that if she went on the next lap she might as well destroy the engine of her life's work. As she neared the finish line she began to slow, fully aware of the pilot gaining behind her. When she got to the finish line she did a messy landing, nearly breaking one of the stands for the landing gear. Her ship let out one final puff before she turned the poor thing off. Other ships passed for their last lap, swerving around her. She sighed, popping out of the Blaize.

Adona watched the Blaize come to a stop sadly. She had been really rooting for that ship. She stood up again. I better get out of here. She stated, as though it mattered. She left again, headed for her hangar to finish the adjustments needed for her ship so she could leave.

Zeno nodded, deciding to keep watching to see what would happen to the young pilot. "If you ever need anything, just find one of the Mando's with dark blue-grey, or black armor, tell them you're looking for GI", He called after her.


Lyyra sighed, looking at her dad and made an unknown gesture before hopping off of the Blaize. She made her way to the nearby wall closing off the track from the stands. She jumped it and clambered up the stairs- She needed water.

Adona set that bit of knowledge in the back of her mind. While she doubted she'd be needing help, it was still good to have. She ran back to the hangar, weaving between the crowds. She grabbed her tools and began work again. Hopefully she could fix this up so it would appear to scanners as a different ship. She had to get off the planet soon. Sure she had a day or so but cutting it close was a terrible idea. She climbed into the ship and ran it for a second to ensure that she hadn't broken anything important. She got out and stepped back, now noticing the little bits of personal decoration on the outside that was a dead giveaway. Maybe another days stay here would have to be endured if she wanted to fix that. She set back to work, quietly humming as she went about it.

"Nice to meet you too Avix." Mako replied in a cheerful tone before turning back to the screen to continue watching the race eagerly. "Yikes." Mako said as he watched Lyyra land her ship slightly roughly. He was somewhat disappointed, he was hoping to see her win after all. "I guess she's out of the race then, right? What a shame, I was rooting for her."
