Bev glanced that way below swatting at Cherry's hand. "Everyone has black hair and blue eyes these days." she said with a forced laugh. "I'm sure you don't want to burden the officer with having to go get that boy." Beverly said as she instead chose to hold both Cherry's hands so she could point no longer

"Thank you," The officer said with a kind smile, "Stay safe," She said before driving away, leaving an bewildered Cherry.
"Sorry," Cherry said sheepishly looking around nervously, "I just can't help it. Do you think that kid is Levi though," She asked looking at the tense person in the tree.

Levi let out a sigh of relief as the police officer left, but now he was worried, they were starting to search more and more, eventually they would find him and he felt his skin crawl, he couldn't let that happen.

Bev shrugged. "I try not to poke my nose in anyone else's business. 'Specially if they're being looked for by the police." she glanced back at the tree, staring at the boy for a moment or two before turning back towards the road. "I have to pick up some food for the week," she pulled out a wad of crumpled cash they had been saving for the weekly groceries, "Do you two wanna join me?"

Honey eagerly pops up to volunteer to go with her friend. Honey knew her friends had power, but she didn't despise or condemn them for it. In fact, it made her more determined to be the best friend possible. "I'll go!" She says.
"If she goes, I go. We all know that by now." Sai says, resting a hand on Honey's shoulder, seeming to melt out of the shadows behind Honey. Reason, however, gave fact that Sai had been there the whole time, he just hadn't been acknowledged. Honey shrugs and smiles up at her older brother.

"No need to ask," Cherry said in a friendly tone giving Sai a wave, "Beverly, you know I would follow you there! Let's go," She walked towards the store, excitement pulsing through her, all her friends where going to hang out!

Levi watched Cherry, glad she had left, "Almost got me caught," He mumbled under his breath as he opened his book and continued to read, wondering to himself when he would have to steal again, the apple he had gotten was not nearly enough to stop the hunger that gripped him.

Beverly smiled at her friend's enthusiasm and gave Sai a nod of acknowledgment. "Great, I really only need bread, some apples, and milk. We grow window boxes of vegetables and stuff so we're good on that," she said as she followed behind Cherry. She fiddled with the money before stuffing it back in a pocket, hoping she wouldn't be short a dollar or two

(Sorry my family went out shopping then we went to dinner)

(That sounds like fun, and no worries! We all have that sometimes.)

"You grow stuff? Fun!" Honey says, always one to be cheerful. "I've always wanted to be a great gardener but all the stuff I try to grow die. I do not have a green thumb. Literally or figurtively. Now onward, trustful adventurers. Time to conquer the buying of milk, bread, and apples!"
Sai smiles at his sister, and continues after the group, keeping a look out. Because better safe than sorry, right?

Bev didnt mention her powers, not out in public. Magic was banned and that meant any mention of it could mean danger. She gave a tiny smile and followed Honey, her fingers again going to her pocket to count the money.

Cherry continued forward, she let herself match the others pace so that she wouldn't lose them.
"Is something wrong," Cherry asked Beverly noticing how was fiddling with her money, "You have enough... right?"

"Hmm? Oh yeah. I just dont want to lose it." She didnt see the point in worrying her friends about her financial situation, it wouldnt anyone any good
