"It gets lonely," Gabriel said. "My father keeps running off my dates, whether male or female. It's quite annoying."

"Heh, if my dad finds out when I get a boyfriend he won't care, he will force themselves to prove they can be in the gang or they'll leave half-dead." He chugged the whisky like it was the last drops of water.

Gabriel smiled brightly at the taller male. "How would it feel to have a partner they wouldn't test?"

Jacob blushed at the thought. "I guess it would be nice? But it is inevitable, huh?" He relaxed a little, watching the blonde.

"Not if you had a secret relationship. With me," Gabriel cooed at him playfully. "It would be fun!"
