Tabby jumped at the whimper, she turned her head to face the noise. The Oni was tense, her eyes flashing with concern. Either something was hurt or trying to lure her into its maw, and she didn't want to take any chances- even if she could probably survive, but wounds bring infections... And Infection can mean death. She didn't notice the cat running away, because she was so intent on the potential threat. When the Wendigo emerged Tabby seemed to relax a little. She watched it closely, curious, she's heard of the western demon, but she's never met one before. "H... Hello?", Was all that came out of Tabby's mouth when she opened it.

Valentine sighed, rubbing his temples as he stared out into the ocean. He was just dropped off by a boat, which he could no longer see in the horizon. He wasn't expecting to just be dropped off, and that caused him to grumble just a bit.
Deciding to clear his head, he turned around and started to walk towards the forest-like side of the island. Not that he hated water, he just wanted to be around a familiar area. Unfortunately, he could tell that it was drawing near to a full moon, and that caused him to be a bit on edge. He hoped that he wasn't dropped off by anybody, due to the fact that he still had problems controlling his werewolf side.

Tabby inched away so she wouldn't get in the way of his horns as he stood. She stared up at him, curious. Her black hair was ruffled in the wind, revealing two bumps on her forehead, revealing what could be horns. She was completely relaxed now, the parts of her arms that weren't covered were no longer rigid. "You can't talk much huh? Maybe I can help?" When he pointed at her arm she looked down at the cloth, slightly stained with purple. "You mean my arm, yeah, I'm fine, it'll heal quickly. All Oni bleed weird colors, I don't know why."

I watched arms crossed ears twitching in annoyance and turned and left, my eyes adjusted to the shadows as I continued to walk sighing "more important tasks I suppose" I muttered demonicly and went back to the little camp site I had. "Alone as usual... I wonder if there are more" I said to myself and looked about for a tree to climb to above all of them.

Tabby watched him, interested in his behavior. She's heard that Wendigos would eat anything that seemed weak, but that was from those stupid humans back home. Tabby stood up and held out her hand. "The name is Tabby.", She smiled softly, not wanting to show her teeth because some cultures can take that as an offense.

(Gota go, I wish this could have been longer, but I'll be gone for most of the day, me and my dad going to see one of the biggest steam locomotives produced.)

"Nice to meet you, your name is very pretty.", Tabby said in a kind voice. She thought it was a very fitting name for him, despite the word being delicate. Tabby studied his hand as he reached it out, it felt moist, like he just exited a fog. His name is very fitting. She squeezed his hand and shook it once, smiling a little wider. "That's a handshake, it's a way of saying hello."
