Owlpounce drug the tom up by his scruff, her chuckles muffled by his fur. cedardive sent an embarrassed glare up at Dovepaw before looking down at his paws. "Like I didn't notice that already.", He mumbled.

*She she puts her ears back slightly*
"Sorry CedarDive..." *She says with an honest tone*

He stood up, shaking his pelt. "it's fine, I shouldn't have snapped at a young molly like that.", He sighed. Cedardive glared back at Owlpounce.

*She smiles a little at CedarDive and she puts her ears back to normal*
"Well. What now OwlPounce?" *She twitches her ear, waiting for a response*

The shecat looked away from her staring contest with her friend to answer. " Hunting, I'm going to teach you how to properly hunt in a tree.", She meowed before leaping onto a higher branch.

*She nods and jumps to a branch close to OwlPounce, then jumps to a higher branch and looks around*
"I don't see anything yet" *She jumps to higher branch and scans the area*

The shecat stood silent for a moment, listening. "That's because you scared all of the prey away because you're moving too much, only jump when you've cleared a branch, or go to the trunk.", Owlpounce instructed, climbing the trunk o the tree to a branch near the top.

*She nods again then she scans the branches once more and jumps to another branch*
"Why can't we just hunt on the gro-" *Her paws slip from the branch and she falls to towards the ground*

Owlpounce was too high up to catch the apprentice, thankfully Cedardive was in the right spot at the right time. The tom reached out and snatched the small cat in his jaws, before dragging her back onto his branch. He panted before smirking at Dovepaw. "Who looks like a kit now?', He teased.

*She smiled at him* "Yeah... yeah I know." *she puts her head down slightly* "Thanks CedarDive" *She says genuinely*
