"An in-infected one." she stuttered standing up with Miko "What do we do ?" she asked

Skaaul

He glared at Miko in warning before trying to calm the Dragoness down. " There is realy nothing to be woryed about, whatever it was it's taken care of now anyway. Beside creating mass panick over somthing that may be an infected isn't worth it, chances are you were wrong and it's realy just a bust that ended badly."

Tsun and Swan

"Wake up sleepyhead. We need to go into the marketplace for some nickel."

Swan ducked under her pale wing to see Tsun's tail disappear from the doorway. She rose, shaking herself from horns to tail. Great. What would she do today? Trip over someone's tail? Fall into a tent? Knock over a display case?

With a heavy sigh, Swan left her room and met Tsun on the balcony of their tower. He greeted her with a smile. "We can get breakfast while we're there."

Swan nodded her head. They had lived together for maybe just under a year now. They had been friends before, but after the illness got to their families, they needed to help look out for each other. Lots of dragons assumed they were mates because of how close they were, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Tsun was very reserved in that way, and Swan ... how could she put this... she leaned more towards dragonesses.

Tsun spread his wings and dove down into the streets of the city, Swan following more slowly behind. This was her least favorite part of the morning. Her huge wings sent her spiraling down with a crash-landing beside Tsun. As he helped her up from the ground, a shriek sounded across the marketplace.

"If you say so," Miko said not wanting to press the fact that he knew it was an infected and the buzzing sound that came from it still made his head ache.

She started to calm down when Skaaul told her there was nothing to worry about "You're probably right,but I think we should check just to make sure." She told him as she started to slowly walk back to town square.

Miko followed knowing that the truth would soon be revealed, What if I'm wrong, he thought to himself before shaking his head, he never was.
"So... how long have you been here," He asked her as he walked beside her, trying his best not to speed ahead or fall behind.

Skaaul

" I woudn't do that if i were you ... i know enough about fights to tell you that this one is most likely done and there is no raison for you to get in the way." He said flatly, he knew what a death cry sounded like and if anything he didn't wanted the mildly anoying female to get in the way of the cleaning crew.

" I'm not going to get in the way I just want to see wants going on." she told Skaaul as she walked away. She and Miko walked in silence for a bit before he asked her a question " I haven't lived her for very long." she answered vaguely.

"Me neither, I moved here about a couple weeks ago, I live with my grandma now, she is very nice," He said not adding the sad part of the story, the reason why he came here in the first place "I do miss my family though, even though I love me grandma a lot."

Nekonata put a hand over her mouth as she watched the cleanup crews struggle to get the blackened blood of the stone. Her bone markings flashed a few times before completely appearing. She had heard rumors but to actually see it? Terrifying...

She shook herself from head to toe, trying to snap herself out of it.
