I jogged to her, but kept a respectable distance away from her. She seemed a little mean. "Are you okay?" I asked. I frowned as I took in her thinness. "We have some food at the pride. You could get some. The pride is very nice or I could get you some if you dont want to go there." I offered.

Lashonda looked back at him. She turned so she could watch him as she slowly backed up. No, she refused to fall prey to a nice act. Don't come n-near me. she hissed. Her ears fell back against her head. To keep walking back was becoming painful, but she did not trust that if she sat down, he wouldnt come closer. She tried to present herself as stronger but knew she would not stand a chance if she had to fight.

She looked like she was in pain, so I laid down. I hoped she would stop moving it looked very painful. "I'm sorry." I told her just loud enough for her to hear. I saw a rouge male lion. I froze and stared at him. "Miss dont turn around, but there is a rouge male behind you. I sat up and growled at the male.

Lashonda froze. She started to whimper, just barely audible. She heart began to beat wildly. Trapped was all she could think.

Mauaji rose to her paws. "Excuse me? What's it to you? We're all in the same pride."

Ayize leaned over and whispered to Moon. "Maybe we should go...."

I heard the other male growl. I didnt know if it was towards me or the injured lioness. I got up and put myself between the lioness and the rouge. "Get away from her." I growled.

Lashonda shivered a bit. She still couldnt move. She was absolutely terrified. She did not turn to face either of them. Run, fight, stay, she couldnt figure out what she should do.

The male stayed where he was. I ran at him. He ran off thinking I was going to fight. I walked back over to the lioness. "It isnt safe out here. Do you want to go to my pride? They're very nice and understanding. They'll let you stay if you want to." I told her. I hoped she accepted my offer anyone would be hurt out here.

Lashonda looked at him. Her eyes were wide. It was clear she was terrified. Despite her natural thought to refuse, she slowly nodded. If she had gotten away once, she could do it again.
