"Your adorable" I say laughing and I smiled as I stared into the fire I caused.

He barks, wagging his tail and licking her chin.

"Noooo" I laugh and smile at Trace.

Suddenly Rei, Cole, and Clare are running past them in their animal forms. Trace quickly stands, tilting his head in confusion. Clare stops, speaking to him in the animal language. Trace steps back, bowing his head sadly. He whimpers, pawing at the ground. Clare hisses and runs off to catch up with the others.

"Hey Trace what's wrong?" I say and watch Rei sadly as he ran and looked at Trace.

He shifts back, running a hand through his long hair. "Rei is going to confront some scientists he had saw from the roof in the forest." He states, sighing. "He didn't want either of us to come, it's an order. Clare and Cole will fight us if we do. He knows my weakness... I could never hurt them..."

I froze and my eyes glinted a dangerous color of anger and I huff and run my hand through my hair and glare at the children " I need a fly I will most likely be back if I am no come look for me" I mutter and shift into my black dragon with purple eyes.

"Don't follow them! Rei will never forgive you! He's fine on his own!" Trace yells up at her.

Rei is standing in front of two scientists who'd been headed towards his home. Clare and Cole sit in trees a mile away, listening.

I land and look at Trace and shift back and look at him "I'm not following him, but if he gets hurt I will not be there to help thats on him" I hiss my eyes a dangerous purple.

"He doesn't need help. Cole is a strong fighter, he will protect his father. And Rei never needs help, he always gets the job done even if he's in pain." He states, his eyes holding no lie.
