"Why, anyway?" He asked. Behind him, Nicole's eyes widened.

He shrugged. "Just getting the feel of the school. I've been to a lot of different schools, and each of them has people that everyone hates and likes, ya know? Figured it would be good to know early."

"Makes sense." Josh agreed, and behind him, Nicole visibly relaxed. This was her first big mission and she was determined not to screw it up.

Maveric smiled, proud of himself for thinking fast.

Lani was still tense, and said, "Okay, now for my turn." She walked to the front and shoved Josh out of the way with her shoulder. "In this direction are the dorms." She pointed down a hallway

"Rude." Josh grumbled, rolling his eyes. He followed her anyway.

"Do we share with someone?" Nicole asked.

Josh beat Lani to it, smirking proudly. "Yeah. That's why I'm showing you guys around. Maveric, you'll be with me."

"And Nicole, you're with me." Lani leaned close to Josh's ear and whispered, "If you're cooler than me, that means I'm hotter than you." She flipped her hair, whipping him in the face.

"Cool," Mav said

"Oh, so original." He retorted, before changing his tone back to playful. "But true, I'd have to say."

Nicole chuckled behind them, rolling her eyes. If everyone else's conversations were this entertaining then she would have no problem being bored here.

(That took me forever to think of. When I realized it wasn't original...*facepalm*)

She ignored him. "So anyway, lunch is actually kinda good here. I think that most of it is homemade."

Maveric pulled out his normal phone, scrolling through pictures.

((Lol same I do that all the time, and then by that point the argument is over))

"The one thing all the students agree on. Also they have dessert!" Josh said. "Everyday! Though sometimes I steal two plates of cheesecake..."

(Yeah. My life every day.)

"Yeah. You guys are gonna love it here."

"Lani, why do you take so many selfies? Can't you do that on your own phone?"

"Yeah, I could, but how would you feel if that was the last thing you said to me? What if I just fell dead? Would you still be complaining about my selfies? Huh? No, you wouldn't. Besides, anyone idiotic enough to let me borrow their phone quickly finds out that they have way more pictures of me that they had before I used their phone."

Maveric was silent. He just mouthed to Nicole, I told you
