(It's ok, I sometimes forget to ping people too)
Neo hadn't even noticed the cut, he yawned and curled against Ember, he didn't worry about his parents since they had been killed trying to take down a bear, ever since he just curls up with the other pups.

ember was overtaken by cuteness when the pup yawned. she picked him up by his scruff once again, placed him on her back, and dragged the buck back to his pack. she was an exceptionally good tracker and simply followed his sent back to his home. she had to take a few breaks on the way. after about a half an hour, she arrived at the pups pack, lay the deer down, and lay down with him near the pack, she did not get to close as she did not want to intrude. she closed her eyes and let sleep creep over her.

Neo yawned again, his cuteness could be used as a weapon since anyone would be overcome by it, he looked at the surprised faces of the pack, "She helped me." he said gesturing to Ember.

ember felt the warm pup lave her side. fearing that something had happened, she jumped up. she noticed that the pack had found the deer and watched as neo proudly displayed it. she smiled. after a minute or two of him explaining what had happened, ember turned to go home.

Neo turned around to see Ember walking off, Neo bounded over, "Wait!" he howled, he jumped onto her back, "Please stay!" he pleaded, the pack were already tearing into the deer, but after they had their share they left plenty for Neo and Ember.

ember heard the pup call to her and could not resist hes plea, so she turned and walked back with him with a smile and wagging tail.

ember took a few bites every now and again until she walked over to a tree, spun around a few times and lay down. she thought about several things as she lay, like, how special neo was, how brave he was, and when she would need to leave. she decided to stay a while longer would be alright. she watched neo scarf down the well earned meat, and hoped this feat of strength would help prove to his pack that he was a good hunter.
