Shoving the annoyance aside, she said as she took his hand, "I suppose I ought to warn you that I'm all left feet - I'm hopelessly uncoordinated!" It wasn't strictly true, in fact - Aewyn was graceful and agile, and light on here feet - but she certainly wasn't the best dancer. It wasn't that she couldn't do it, she had just never bothered to learn how. As Asher and Aewyn walked out onto the dance floor and she turned to face him, smiling, "I'll try not to step on your toes," she told him.

"I hope so. Though I'm more likely to step on yours." Being a Silver meant being agile and intelligent, and always alert. However, the Prince barely had any grace when it came to dancing. In battle he was completely different- one of the strongest and fastest Burners in the Calore bloodline.
He took in a deep breath as the music started for the next dance, and he led her along, trying not to mess up his steps as the glided along the ballroom floor.

Comperind to Asher, Aewyn felt woefully inadequate when it came to her dancing skills. Is seemed all her concentration was going into keeping her feet in the right places and getting her body to do what she wanted. The twin daggers strapped to her legs didn't help matters. Everyone, she realized as the rainbow skirts of her dress whirled with color as she spun, was staring at her and Asher. He did, she realized belatedly, look rather handsome in his princly outfit. She looked stunning as well, her backless dress showind off her slim, gracefull form, the simple, gold and black makeup, her red-black hair long and flowing loose. "They're all staring at you," she breathed to Asher, for indeed they were.

He chuckled, his cheeks heating up slightly as he coughed in an attempt to cover up his stutter. "I doubt that. I'm sure they're staring at you." As a child he had been utterly overwhelmed, but now the watchful eyes didn't scare his as much. He offered a small grin and turned his attention back to Aewyn, trying to fight the frown from the memory off his face. "You look beautiful." He offered her, his eyes meeting hers. "That's why they're watching. I mean... I don't think they find me particularly beautiful." He added jokingly.

"Oh!" Aewyn could not prevent a small gasp from escaping her lips at his words. Her face flushed, and she stammered, "You really think... oh.. really... I, oh, gods..." Aewyn! she screamed mentally. Get it together! One compliment from a princling and you're redused to stammering mush? Swiftly she came up with, "You look stunning tonight, too, Prince." Most of the color had faded by now, but her cheeks were still slightly pink. "That is to say, thank you, Prince." she corrected herself smoothly.

Lukas and Eren exchanged awkward glances. They shrugged and went to get drinks. Lukas took a small snake out of his coat pocket and allowed it to wrap itself around his wrist like a sort of arm bracelet. The green viper's eyes glowed green for a second, before it went completely still, like a stone.

Carmela sighed. She had become bored with talking for probably the first time in her life. Everyone seemed to have serious matters on their mind. Nobody she had talked to so far had anything interesting to talk about. She walked about the room aimlessly, giving an awkward smile when people began to talk to her. She was ready to get her failing of the queenstrial out of the way and return home.

((The murderer for now will be an NPC, but since Aewyn is already a rebel, she'll know. I'll send the info about the murderer to everyone. They'll probably be one of the reds working in the Palace. If you don't know what Reds are, as I didn't explain It earlier, they are regular people. While the Silvers have silver blood, Reds have red blood and no magic at all. They work for the Silvers and do menial tasks around the kingdom. The ranking of Red and Silver society:
Silver Royal Family
Silver Houses
Regular Silvers (have powers but live regular lives, some compete in an arena)
Reds (red blooded, have to earn special credits to be able to use electricity)
I hope that clears up the confusion, and again, I should have mentioned this earlier. I'm sorry. Anyway, if your character is going to turn a rebel, ping me when after the ball you'd like it to happen so I can rp the leader of the Rebels (they'll be a Red).))
I will ping with rp replies soon. Maybe the others can join Chaya and Sola in their conversation?
