He then turned to Destiny. "I had no idea, my apologies. If you would like I could let you hold it. Maybe it would feel familiar in a way?"

Kai stiffened at the word mother as she had adandoned Kai when he was very young. All he had to remember her by was a lone painting of her holding him as a baby. She looked so happy and serene in the picture, so he always wondered why she left if she was so happy. Oh, right, yeah I can read it no problem he said, albeit a little nervous. He gently grabbed the pendant in three fingers.

As soon as he grasped the pendant, his fingers began transforming into claws where he grabbed the pendant, then his hand slowly shifted to scales, which slowly spread down his arm. He let out an embarrassing squeak due to being startled, and dropped the pendant to the grown, jumping back a little.

"Are you ok?" Destiny says as turns to Kai. His eyes widen in worry. "Why did you squeak like that?" He asks. The noise of the pendant falling gave Des were it was. Slowly turning away from Kai. Destiny bends down to pick up the fallen pendant.

The moment Destiny touches the pendant the feeling of being with his mother. Pulses immensely, the faint grey outline of the pendant suddenly become white. And while all of this is happening, his hand begins to change. Slowly changing his fingers to black crescent claws and his skin becoming scales. A dim light of light green emit from the newly grown scales on Destiny hands as they further spread slowly.


"Sorry about Kai dropping your pendant" Destiny says to stranger, not noticing the change that's happening to his arm. Most people just walked by and didn't even notice what's happening to the young man. His black cloak covered most of his dragon scales on his arms up to his wrists. "Whats what?" Destiny turns his head at Kai.

(If you wanted his dragon form could be able to see, Light. That way he knows something's is different about him.)

Once the pendant was dropped he went to take it from the ground only to have it picked up by Destiny who didn't seem to notice the difference. Slowly he took the pendant himself, his own hand and arm shifting this time. "It's the pendant of Garaven, made from one of his scales before he died. It's said that the dragon's soul still lives within it, and whoever comes into contact will see what they truly are. In our case, all three of us, we are all same. We are all the fabled children of the great king of dragons." He kept his voice low, watching those around them. "That is why I be come to find you, so that I can take you all to a safer place and teach you as you should be taught."

"Uh, man, your arm! I get you can't see what's happening, but... don't you feel it! it's turning to scales!" Kai said to Destiny before whipping around to face the strange man.

"You said we're... dragons? basically? like, the kids of the legendary dragon? you're joking, right? oh my gods" Kai began hyperventilating. "I need to go... I'm going to the ocean" Kai said, taking off towards the beach, shoving through crowds of people to get to his safe space.

"You know, i find it really hard to believe." Destiny said as Kai went away. "Could you further explain at my place? It- Its seems to fake for me to believe, plus it seems better for us to talk in private?" Destiny suggested. He couldn't really believe the stranger, him a dragon's kid? No that's impossible. Both of his parents were human. But he had a slight feeling the man wasn't lying. Mostly because of the pendant, the only thing he ever saw. The outline actually told him the shape of it and it was a first.

Destiny turned around and started to walk back to his dojo, he had already bought the necessary amount of rice, so his purpose was done here in the market.

I sighed and stood up, looked around and walked out of the tavern. 'What to do, what to do, what to do.' I mumbled to myself as I walked through the market. I looked up when I reached the blacksmith. 'Maybe I could get another weapon?' I stood in front of the entrance for a few seconds before deciding that I already had enough weapons. So I headed towards the beach the least I could do is wade in the water.
