Lilian stood there with a blank expression for a second, then smiled. She went back to reading her books and after a while, finished all 10 of them.

Carmine and the stranger she seemed to be chatting nicely with seemed to be getting more and more frustrated with each other, and the two argued their way outside, most likely to fight

Lilian felt a bit curious. She left her books on the table and quietly sneaked to the door way, undetected. She tuned in on their conversation and made sure not to be heard. It would be very bad if she was caught.

"And by dog do you mean your team? or just a dog?" Kim looked at Kacita confused at what she just said.

"No, I mean I literally found a dog yesterday and adopted it, here's a picture" Kacita said, pulling out a picture of a brown and white dog (Imagine hayate just with a tan brown instead of black) "Isn't she adorable?" Kacita said happily. "I'll be bringing her into work as soon as she's properly trai- oh no not again, sorry to cut out chat short, but I have to run" Kacita noticed something, then hurried away, following two people out

Carmine and another military member seemed to be about to fight outside. "Haru, some people think you have charm, but that won't do nothing about my fist in your face" Carmine shouted at him, Haru shoving her back.

"I'd like to see you try! you're an alchemist, you just clap like you watched a school play and feel obligated emotionally to clap so you don't seem like a jerk! how much could your punches hurt!" Haru shouted back, challenging her. She obligated, knocking him to the ground with a swift punch. He immediately jumped back up, looking barely even hurt after the harsh blow

How could he hop up to easily after such a harsh blow? Lilian thought shockingly. She watched in astonishment. She knew the lady she met earlier would win. She wasnt someone to be pushed around.

"shes cute" Kim said before Kacita left. As he was about to go back into reading the book he had bookmarked he sees from a corner of his eye, 2 figures walking outside and being followed by 2 or 1 person. Then he heard the noise of arguing as it does not stop. He gets up leaves his paper on the table and soon follows them. As he sees them he decides to watch there fight, hiding his presence he wanted to see what how the new generation will fight.

Lilian watched closely, moving closer to the doorway. She nearly stumbled, but kept quiet and continued watching. She hoped it would end quickly and no one would be badly injured.

Before a second punch could be thrown, a cuff was put around Carmine's arms, and both military officers were restrained, both of them panicking before they both looked over to someone behind Lilian, looking guilty, apologetic, and worried.

"Honestly you two, I go socialize with a fellow colonel for 10 minutes, and you guys start a fist fight in the parking lot" Kacita sighed as she let her two subordinates go, they muttered apologies to her "Don't apologize to me, apologize to each other" She said, crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently.
