"You're a nine tailed kitsune, cool!" She exclaimed. "Let's go then." She guided them through the hallways, until she felt a slight breeze on her face. "I think we're near the exit, it'll be great to finally leave! I've been here my whole life, so I'm excited to see the outside. What about you? Were you born here or captured?"

(Alex)
Mouth open with awe, I ran over to the door and flung onto the frame, hardly believing what I could see. The bright landscape that I thought I would never see again was standing right in front of me. It looked almost too perfect, like a painting that was too delicate to touch. Everything...the sights, the sounds were so realistic, and memories of venturing into the woods and foraging with my family and my brother Jayden came flooding back. Tears formed in the corners of my eyes as I remembered.

Its...wow. I have no words...

I mumbled, my face in a soft resting smile. I looked over to the fox boy and my smile grew a little. The way his eyes lit up with wonder as he reached up into the sky was adorable, and made me giggle childishly.

Maybe trusting people isnt so hard...especially when the outcome is this beautiful... I thought, sighing with happiness.

~Orion~
Gasping with delight, Orion rushed over to a field covered with flowers, the colour blended together like a rainbow. He leaped into the field and flopped onto his back, being swallowed by the nature. His arms rested above his head, picking random flowers as he saw them. The grass beneath him tickled his skin and the pollen from the flowers tickled his nose. Sneezing violently, Orion sat straight up... "Huh, I must have hay fever." Putting his new found allergy, he picked flower after flower, weaving them together until he had a flower crown and a flower bracelet. With that, he raced over to Alex and placed it upon his head and on his wrist, then smiled at him, tilting his head, his nose red from the sneezing.

(Alex)
I chucked at the boys red nose and sneezing, as well as in confusion at the flowers he had decorated me with. Whats all of this? Youre decorating me like Im a tree or something... I reached an arm up to touch the crown, but quickly retracted it and crossed my arms, pouting a little. You could always decorate sunshine over there... I grumbled, gesturing over to Crow.

Looking at Orion again, I became overcome with a sense of wanting to keep Orions face like that, with the precious smile and tilted head, I laughed and ruffled his hair. You look like you might be allergic to these things, are you alright? I asked, and then realised something.

Hey, fox boy... I mumbled, looking into the distance. ...What are we going to do now? Youve helped me out, so we can go out separate ways... For some reason, my heart twinged as I said this, and my mood dampened. Smiling sadly, I took off the flower crown to inspect it, then put it back on, probably lopsided, and looked at him.

~Orion~
"It's flower jewellery!" He smiled happily."But, I want to decorate you...." He muttered, reaching his arms up to straighten the flower crown. A frown rested on his face at the idea of not decorating Alex. "Crow wouldn't let me." He pouted. Alex ruffled his hair, which caused him to pout bigger. "I'm not a child." He whined. "Yes, I'm allergic, I have hayfever..." He muttered, sniffing constantly, "My eyes are itchy..." Orion's hair dropped in front of his face. "You.... You want to leave?" He asked sadly, "Th...That's fine, i you want, I guess." Orion stared at the ground.
It took him a few minutes but he eventually looked up and placed a fake smile on his face. "Yeah, we should... I guess." Orion turned slowly, waved backwards and said "See ya around.."

"I'm so sorry, that sounds awful... My sister, she was experimented on constantly... She passed because of it. They tortured her, so much that she left me... And now I'm alone." She smiled sadly at him. "But that's okay... Do you ever think, of getting revenge. Do you think it would be a good idea?" She asked curiously, unsure if it was wise but she had so much resentment stored inside.

(Alex)
I sighed softly, stuffing my hands into my pockets. ...Ill miss you... I whispered, and began to walk in the opposite direction . The bright world I had stepped into seemed darker and more depressing as I walked away from the pair, which stung, but I shook my head. I shouldnt have gotten attached. This was the whole point of escaping together... I mumbled as if I were trying to convince myself that what I was doing wasnt wrong.

As I continued walking, I approached a large, shady looking forest, with sun that weaved through the leaves of the tallest trees and dappled onto the forest floor. A few birds whistled to themselves in a bush nearby ad I saw a rabbit scamper across to its burrow. Shrugging, I began to head in. Might aswell stay here...at least for today... I again mumbled as if I had to assure myself that my actions were right.

Once I was about twenty minutes in, I heard a rustling sound coming from the bushes nearby, louder than a forest animal, and it was approaching quickly.
On immediate alert, I got on all force and growled with warning, growing my fangs and ears as I did, which seemed to happen whenever I felt threatened.

I watched the bushes carefully and suddenly, out rushed a little girl with white wings, and a wolf pounced after her. HEY! I yelled and it stopped, turning to glare at me. We stared at each other for a second, before it sensed my dominance and slinked back into the bushes.

I turned around and saw the girl staring up at me in awe, on the floor from falling over in the rush. Gee sir, youre pretty tough... She mumbled, picking herself up, and then she laughed at me.
For a flowery puppy! I pulled a disgusted face at her, whilst she stuck out her tongue. Thanks for nothing, sucker! She exclaimed, pushing her wings down with force which sent her shooting up pasts the canopy. GET BACK HERE! I yelled, but to no avail.

~Orion~
"I'll miss you too..." He whispered, walking away, he pulled his hood over his face and slumped his shoulders, walking towards the forest. He felt alone now, even thought Crow was still here, following him. Orion spun around angrily. "Leave me alone Crow! The group is splitting up, didn't you get that!" He snapped. Crow shrugged and turned away, walking away, alone, now all of them were miserable. He left, full of regret, even though Alex had to leave... He could have asked Crow to stay, He could have kept someone. Now that he was alone, it felt almost just as bad as the lab. It's not like he had anything good. Orion walked to the very end of the forest and when he exited the shady trees that seemed to have all of the life sucked out of them, he saw a ruin. A bright green hill raised through the sky, speckled with stone bricks that tumbled from the base of a building. He smiled slightly and stepped down the slope towards the ruin.
