(Except one has two knights and the other only has one ;3;)
Cherokee moved one forward and the other the same on the opposite side to circle around the opponant. As he touched the second piece, frost spirals collected on the edged. His ears pinned back and pulled his paw away after making the move.

Finch

Finch moved his piece backwards and used a flick of his tail to push it on top of a small rock, before looking at Cherokee, hoping he didn't disappoint the older cat.

"U-use territory to your advantage, right? Now my moss-knight can jump onto one of yours if they get too close!"

"I'm doing this right, right?"

Cherokee nodded satisfied. He moved his pieces inwards but not too close, before moving one back out.

(Pinging everyone for new people and to see who would like to to a location change)

Kai yawned, her small white teeth showing. She licked a paw and drew it over her head, then stood. "I'm bored," she said to Gar. "Want to go ask if we can train with our mentors?" The white she-cat looked around.

Cherokee looked away from the training game of moss knights with the youth and over to Kai who seemed to be moving. He didnt motion them over, but heard the words clearly. Hed been the queen and guides apprentice leave already and another cat go down to the tunnels alone, so theyd most likely be assigned to some work that wasnt outside the camp, but he wasnt sure all the same. His dappled ear tip twitched as he went back to the game, waiting for the youth to make his move.

Finch

Finch kept his moss on the rock, thinking it was risky to move his piece, but instead pushed some sand off the pebble onto one of Cherokee's pieces.

He raised an eyebrow and in one swift movement, pushed his backed up piece forward, presuming the moss on the rock would have been distracted. He made the moss show a running cat, placing it straight next to the youths piece of moss on the rock so they were of an equal height.

Finch

Finch, surprised, used his moss to push the other piece off the rock, and pushed a smaller rock off onto the top of Cherokee's piece, pinning it.

He moved his piece quickly out of the way and calmly pushed his second piece forward so the opponant was surrounded. He looked up at Finch, curious about the youths expression.

Kai bounded over to Cherokee and Finch. She watched the two play, her tail swishing slightly. "Hello- what are you two doing?"
