"I'm the filthy one?" He snorted. "You Skywings, always picking fights." Solstice snarled, but didn't dare to come close when he saw the Skywing's scales. They steamed slightly and he realized what she was. "Fire scales. Are you trying to get me to fight you to show them off?"

Bubble flew up, trying to find the nicest shells for the queen. Maybe the Skywing kingdom had good ones. It was to the west, so she flew with the winds

He gingerly took the rock, hoping her scales wouldn't brush his. "Nice to meet you too, Ash." He dove down and snatched up another rock, one black and smooth like some of his own scales. It was rock, so it wouldn't burn... he hoped.
