You wake up in a field of grass, with tall, red-leaved trees surrounding you. Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain behind your head. You touch the back of your head and notice that it is bleeding. You look around and see that you are surrounded by endless golden plains scattered with flowers and tall red trees. You look up at the beautiful blue sky and feel the warmth of the radiant yellow sun shine upon you. You look north and see a gravel road in the distance, to the south and see more plains, to the east and see a purple mountain, and to the west and see a crimson forest. What do you do?

I get up, wincing at the pain, and decide to go North, along the road.

You travel across the field to the road, but as soon as you step onto it, you wince in pain as you realize that you are not wearing shoes!

What can I do? I try to look around for supplies to make shoes.

You can't see anything of the sort. Maybe you could just trudge through the pain?

I attempt to.

You make it about a mile before your feet begin to get cut up. You lose 3 HP.

Suddenly, you see a peddler off in the distance with his wagon.

I run to the peddler, wincing.

The peddler sees you coming towards him, and stops his wagon. "Can I help you, miss?"
