"Bye!" She went inside and ran upstairs at once, getting started on her make up and clothes. She always wore simple dresses and the lightest bit of make up, as she didn't enjoy dressing up too much. She glanced at the outfit, which consisted of a white dress and her usual white flower crown.

When Aviur arrived home, he darted to his room, and grabbed a red blazer and pants.

Sure thing, should I get ready for the dance there, or leave a little early to get prepared? Kacita texted back.

She stood up, grabbing a nearby hairbrush and making herself look somewhat publicly tolerable, then looked around the house, calling out for her parents, glad to discover they weren't home. Her mom usually did a lot of fancy and complicated makeup, Kacita had learned a fair amount of things, like how to make it look good. She snuck into her parents room, then into the master bathroom, grabbing a bunch of the makeup inside.

You can come over whenever, Kaci. I'm all ready. Do you have a date? She quickly swiped on her mascara.

"You have a date for the daaaancey?" A text from one of his sisters read. He was surprised she texted him, as she was probably busy with her job. "No.... didn't want to open anyone to teasing." "You're too much of a softie ;P"

As more people started arriving he stood from his box and made his way towards the people standing near the door to the school waiting for the girl he met earlier. It was strange to be here in front of all these people when he clearly was an outsider. Maybe giggled as they passed making him cast his head down in shame. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...

"Lonely guy as well?" Aviur beamed, but mentally slapped himself.

Diana's eyes widened as she remembered Hal. She quickly texted the other girls. Oo- have to go, you guys can't come over. There's someone I need to help at school.

She turned off her phone and got into her car, driving to the school grounds. Seeing the people gathered at the front, her eyes searched the crowd. When she didn't see him, she got out and rushed to the front building, finally catching a glimpse of his jet-black hair.

"Hey, Hal!" She jogged towards him, fixing her flower crown as she did.
